4 College Sophomore

Transportation: The bus is pretty easily accessible it goes through campus and takes students back to their apartment complexes. The bus pass is definitely worth the buy because of how much use it will get if living off campus.

Transportation: Traffic is awful at certain times of the day, better off on foot

3 College Student

Transportation: I don't take the buses normally. Cats cab is nice on the weekends but I usually forget about it and it takes forever. I don't really understand the shuttles

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The campus shuttle is useful during bad weather.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I am not exactly sure about the transportation services for taking you out-of-town to your home, but transportation locally is fairly well. There are a lot of buses around campus that can take you nearly anywhere around Lexington.

Most places on campus can be reached in a short walk.
The city bus system offers free fares to students, but nobody has every actually seen any Kentucky students on a bus that runs anywhere but campus. Most people seem to enjoy the walk, unless the weather is bad and the buses crowd up.

Cabs in Lexington aren't too expensive and are the best way to get where you want to go safely without having to walk. Always keep the name of a good cab company handy when going out just in case your designated driver decides to be irresponsible.
