1 College Junior

Campus Strictness: UK treats underage drinking like it's the biggest problem in the world. Meanwhile, students are getting robbed, beaten up, and stabbed because the police are focused on parties.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: From what I heard it's a great school to attend not many problems. So they do have rules they just need to be followed and then the strictness will die down.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: Depends which dorm you go to which RA you have. The RA can be strict with the noise level or not. There are mandatory quiet hours during finals which is nice.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Policies on campus are somewhat lenient as long as you follow the rules and stay in line.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: It is good to have a somewhat strict campus because it helps with safety. You must show your id to get into any dorm and you must check in and out guests. The RA's can vary from dorm to dorm but most are strict about alcohol and drug policies.

Although the dry campus policy is strictly adhered to by the university, most students get away with it a time or two. Loud, obnoxious parties off campus get busted up pretty quickly, so trust your judgment and leave before things get too crazy.

Campus police have a good reputation for being understanding. At times they can even turn a blind eye, particularly to Greeks partying off campus. The best way to stay out of trouble is to be respectful to police and always have a ride home pre-arranged.
