4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: People at the UIC are very simple and down to earth. They're also neither stuck up or unfriendly.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: I think because this campus is diverse there are many different types of looks, dress, and social life but everyone is always friendly!

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Mostly everyone dresses decent and practical.

3 College Student

Guys & Girls: Everyone does their own thing.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Most people I've met on campus are just average, no one stood out and most all kept to themselves. I don't see people smushed at a locker together like in high school so not much dating either. That's my opinion while in housing but I can't make a general opinion because the student population is so huge. I never see the same people twice while walking to class.

On average, students at UIC are somewhat conservative. Dating is an active part of student life, and many are involved in serious relationships—hence, few epic tales of random hookups and wild parties float around campus. Without breaking a sweat, one can spot students on campus holding hands and displaying affection for one another. Now, although UIC has a diverse student body, interracial relationships are rare on campus. Relationships usually stay amongst students of the same race, leaving a smaller game population when it comes to finding a partner. Fortunately, local bars and clubs are great places where one can meet young singles from other universities and surrounding areas.

The ratio of sexually active students to those who aren’t is quite even. Birth control is readily available on campus at the health center, and students are given a lot of it. Relationship advice and counseling are also available for those students who are overwhelmed by the stress of college and managing a relationship. And if one doesn’t find what one is looking for on campus, a whole city awaits.
