University of Houston Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 6,696 reviews
I've had an amazing time at the University of Houston. I've made tons of friends and things are just easy and smooth there. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! The bowling alley, pool tables, ping pong tables, and arcade are all amazing and fun activities to do while on campus. There is a variety of food and drinks to get around campus at whatever time you are free. I also recommend going to any type of sporting event that goes on because those are really where the fun is to me personally, especially since I love sports. Basketball and football games are always full of students full of energy and good vibes all around. These are all reasons why I love attending the University of Houston.
The University of Houston provides a dynamic academic experience, boasting a diverse student body and a broad spectrum of programs. Renowned for its strong faculty and cutting-edge research initiatives, the university offers students ample opportunities for academic exploration and personal growth. Beyond the classroom, a wealth of extracurricular activities and organizations cater to various interests, fostering a vibrant campus community. With modern facilities, green spaces, and state-of-the-art amenities, the campus provides an inviting environment for learning and collaboration. Situated in the heart of Houston, students benefit from access to internship opportunities, cultural events, and a thriving economy, enriching their university experience and preparing them for future success.
As a sophomore student at the University I have seen the vast number of opportunities available to students. There is an abundance of majors, housing, classes, and organizations students are able to choose from by their interest. The class sizes are relatively large especially for core and low-level classes though most professors put in the effort to take care of their students. The area of Houston can be dangerous at times so staying aware and observant will mitigate unfortunate circumstances. Overall, people are friendly, and the university can be what you make of it.
