Local Atmosphere: University of Hawaii at Manoa is located very conveniently in Honolulu. There is always a ton of things to do! Whether it's shopping, dining, clubbing, hiking, swimming, surfing, snorkeling, sailing, etc. there is something for everybody in the area! Oahu is a small island so you can reach any area rather easily. Endless outdoor activities and scenery create an experience that you cannot get from any other college on the mainland. Despite the cost of living being higher, the quality of life on the island is immeasurable. You can be a jungle explorer, snorkeler, surfer by day and you can enjoy city night life by evening. Whatever you are in to, there is a place for you on this island. There is also an ever-developing art scene and a huge emphasis on environmental well-being. Come join us on the sunny side!

The attractions would definitely be the beaches. Sandy is a very fun beach, but my favorite is the North Shore. The North Shore has a beautiful scenery and a huge rock to jump off, its awesome. Manoa is very competitive with their football, the stadium get packed during the season and its soooo much fun being with friends at the game. we have
