Local Atmosphere: The shopping center is a nice mall that's located near Waikiki with the average stores you see at all malls in the mainland. A cultural event would be the Floating Lantern, its a Hawaii Memorial Day event. Its super packed with about 40k attendants each year and sing the Hawaii Aloha song! The attractions would definitely be the beaches. Sandy is a very fun beach, but my favorite is the North Shore. The North Shore has a beautiful scenery and a huge rock to jump off, its awesome. Manoa is very competitive with their football, the stadium get packed during the season and its soooo much fun being with friends at the game. we have

Local Atmosphere: In general people are very friendly. Lots of places to eat all different kinds of cuisine. Going to the beach is always fun.

Local Atmosphere: Because the cost of living is so high, the many attractions are those that Hawaii has to offer for free (any and all activities outdoors). There is so much to appreciate in such a beautiful place.

Local Atmosphere: There is a lot to do if you have the resources. It is a huge city so you can feel lost and trapped if you arent able to get out from it. Beaches and hiking are great. Waikiki is good for going out and partying and seeing people. Not bad local atmosphere.. fun, always something going on just depends what you are looking for.
