4 College Freshman

Facilities: University of Hawaii has an abundance of beautiful lawn and trees. It also has a stream that runs up the side of the upper and lower campuses. The university has many culturally-influenced buildings. This includes a beautiful Japanese zen garden hidden behind one of our buildings. Many times between class I have climbed trees and sat and read a book. The campus has a very nice, easy-going flow about it. There are places to eat on campus as well as a few coffee shops. At the center of the campus is a big, new recreation center. On certain days every week, local vendors set up their booths at the center of campus. This also includes local produce companies that create an on campus farmer's market. There are two libraries each with computer lab access. There are many places to hang out, study, put up a hammock, skateboard, etc.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: A new athletic center with an indoor track and basketball court make for a great place to work out along with the outdoor track and lower campus gym. Student center is always packed with tons of students doing homework, grabbing food, hanging out with friends, or just passing through to their next class. Libraries are HUGE and offer tons of resources. Lots of places spotted around campus for people to sit and hang out. Check out the Chinese garden along East West Road!

5 College Junior

Facilities: The amount of green space found within the campus is nearly all over! There are many tree's, flowers, gardens, and grassy areas for students to stop and relax around.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: Being in Hawaii there are a lot of outdoor opportunities and at the University of Hawaii they provide student activities to go out and teach surfing or do things like hiking.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: We just got a new student gym, and it's great!
