5 College Student

Diversity: Strong advantage! No majority on campus means that students are so tolerant and welcoming of diversity. I'm enriched by the mix of ethnicities.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: I love how diverse this school is especially coming from schools that were diverse as well. You see the different ethnicities of people around campus; hanging out with people of other ethnic groups besides their own. From what I feel, there is a great acceptance from political beliefs to religion and to sexual orientation on school grounds

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: Diversity on the University of Hawaii campus is huge. There are many students from different countries and the US that go to school here. I am able to experience different cultures everyday and learn about different places around the world from my peers. We all work well together to create a diverse and successful community of learning. The professors are also very diverse and its interesting to experience the different teaching styles based on their culture and beliefs.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: We are a big mixing pot here at UHM.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: UH Manoa has a mixed culture of students from all over the world. You would feel welcome no matter what your background is. People here are nice and friendly.
