3 College Sophomore

Majors: you have to be qualified to enter the school of education at the university of Guam.

3 College Sophomore

Computers: Not bad, but not great.

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: No enough options within walking distance.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Most students don't really utilize the athletic facilities. A lot of the patrons are not students of the University. There are no huge teams that play for the University, so there's pretty much no strong sports and athletics.

3 College Junior

Diversity: While there are many open-minded minded individuals, there are still some instances of racial challenges on campus, although there is high tolerance of the LGBT community.

Drug Safety: I've never really seen anyone getting busted for drugs so it must be okay.

Scholarships: They took long to reimburse student of excess financial aid, too long to apply scholarship awards toward tuition and some financial aid officers are rude and unhelpful.

Health & Safety: No crime watch at the school that I know of

2 College Senior

Athletics: Not a lot of sports/athletics that I know of

3 College Senior

Diversity: Being in an island of Guam, the culture is very diverse and ranges from the Chamorro locals to the outlying minor islands of the Pacific. Korean and Japanese students do come frequently to our university for exchange/tour programs.

3 College Senior

Computers: The microsoft windows and office version are updated, wireless speed is average but lags during peak hours. The computer lab currently have a 10 pages per day printing quota that are not strictly implemented. Printing is free and is only available in black and white/grayscale. The LCD monitors are big enough for visual purposes.

Campus Dining: UOG's campus dining is okay but I honestly think they should have more menus for students to choose. The value for each meal should also be lower because of the fact that some students wont be able to afford it. Aside from their menus and the value of their good I would say Campus dinning isn't that bad.

Campus Dining: We have a school cafeteria which only opens from 7am to 3pm. It is so bad that we don't have a 24-hour or night time dining options that will allow the students dine out during the night. The cost of meals is also expensive for the students.

3 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: The athletics at school is not so popular. Although at times flyers are posted for games announcement, only a few participate in the games activities. It's a huge part of campus life.

2 Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: There is no such thing as party life at school. The student body is so weak that they don't do activities for the school such as night parties on campus.

3 Recent Alumnus

Majors: Declaring your major is a very important thing to do at school. Once you declared your major, you are actually working towards something. As for my major, I enjoyed it so much. Although the courses are hard, I still enjoy learning more. I know it is a limited field so I may be able to easily find a job in the future.

4 Recent Alumnus

Majors: I just completed my internship few months ago. I loved my internship because it opened me up to the real world. It will help me prepare for my future career.

3 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: Although I received my financial aid I needed, it took a while to receive. It takes a lot of time for the processing at the Financial Aid Office as well as the Business Office. It is annoying especially when the Business Office had to hold back our scholarship checks for 15 working days for processing.

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: There is no such thing as students discounts at the nearby off-campus dining options. They also have costly prices for their meals.

3 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I would still select this school because I have no other choice. This school is close to my country and so that is why I chose to transfer to this school. The flight cost is not much comparing to going to states for an higher education.

3 Recent Alumnus

Local Atmosphere: The town that our school is located is peaceful. We have small convenient stores but still students need to get around to big stores to buy their necessities. We don't have malls nearby that will satisfy the needs of the students and the ones living on campus.

2 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: There is a need of campus shuttles. Students really need transportation to and from school. With those that are living in the dorms, it's very hard to get their necessities because they have no way of going to the stores.

4 Recent Alumnus

Weather: The weather does not really affect our campus because we have new buildings and our buildings are safe. We also have window shutters that keeps us safe.

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: The school never helps student to find off-campus housing. Therefore, it is one of the hardest things for students to look for when trying to find one. Most of the available houses are costly for students to afford. The houses are not really close to the school so when it rains it gives students problem to find ways to reach the school.
