Majors: I learned a lot, and it is very interesting subject for me.

2 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: It is quite boring to me.

4 College Senior

Drug Safety: I never seen any drug scene in school.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: Although I was qualified for additional scholarship, I couldn't get it, just because of my credits (above credit limit). It was really unlucky for me.

4 College Senior

Campus Strictness: It is quite easy going, but some police forces are always beside of us.

Weather: Recently, the weather is pretty inconsistent.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: Nothing is better than football season, but other sports are also very widely supported. For example, the basketball games and Gym Dawgs meets are always well attended. I love attending any events and also the IM events my friends are involved in.

Academics: Academics here really depend on your professor. I have gotten really lucky with my professors, especially in the honors program.

Scholarships: I just got government loans and HOPE/Zell Miller Scholarship

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: I don't go downtown so I don't really know how to answer this

Majors: The political science department here is incredible. They are all extremely helpful and very well informed. Out of all of the professors I have spoken to in the department, most of them seem like they can really teach a class well. My current professor in awesome - he mixes up our class with lecture, news stories, and clips from The Daily Show.

Majors: The people in the Economics department are beyond competent and helpful. My professor right now has a great sense of humor and teaches well and my advisor is more helpful than my other 3 advisors put together. Although I haven to been a student in the school of business for very long, I do not feel behind or anything.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: Not really a party animal

Facilities: UGA is no ramshackle university. It looks well kept, and there are resources available for all of the students.

Computers: There are many times where the internet will crash on you because of poor network. It is also difficult when the wireless network does not work for long periods of time and all of your assignments are online and due at certain time periods.

Scholarships: It was a difficult process but it all worked out in the end.

One of the most amazing things about students at UGA is that I have never heard one person say they don't like being here. UGA and Athens have so much to offer in so many different categories, that there really is something for everyone. The positive energy of 30,000 people who are happy to be here is captivating, and something you will instantly want to be a part of. It will not take long before you regard Athens as your second home, and after about a week, most students forget how big a school it is.

It's exciting to be in Athens because there is always something going on, whether it is entertainment, a demonstration, job fairs, or just a chance to hang out with people you just met who are now your best friends. Students are encouraged to explore their talents and make the most of their four years here, and most students are able to achieve their ultimate "college experience." Sometimes, it seems like we are all characters in some cheesy teen movie because college life in Athens is so classic, but academically, socially, and personally, this school seems to have changed most of us for the better.
