5 College Student

Drug Safety: My school is an excellent learning environment and is drug free. There is motivation around the school against the use of illegal drugs and alcohol coming from our peers on on our high school campus.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: uf is a huge party school, so of course there will be drugs and alcohol, but its not bad on campus.

Drug Safety: See most of it in the Greek areas of the school

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: No one really pressures you too drink, but it is available if you want to partake. Alcohol is definitely more visible on campus than drugs.

The most common drug on campus is weed. UPD takes drug use pretty seriously, and if you are caught, expect to be suspended from school, or in some cases, expelled. Weed is pretty prevalent, and if you ask around, you will be sure to find someone who knows someone who could get it for you. As far as other drugs on campus, mushrooms and ecstasy are also used.

Because of the University's love affair with high techno/dubstep music, UF tends to get concert acts of this nature, and a lot of people think it's normal to do ecstasy at these concerts for the "rave effect."

If you are caught in your dorm room with drugs, the penalty could be harsh. The most severe punishment is being kicked out of your room-with no possible way of ever living on campus again.
