Computers: There are computers everywhere. Each student is alotted 250 black and white prints a semester at one specific lab, but aside from that printing cost is fairly affordable. Having a laptop is important though if note taking is easier to type for the student. Wifi is everywhere.

Computers: Being a computer science student at UF I can honestly say that the network that UF provides and the technology in its labs are some of the best in the country.

3 College Junior

Computers: The library has computers but people will sit at the tables with computers even when they bring their own. Still, there would not be enough computers for every one. We get 200 free printing pages every semester

You are going to need a laptop in college—it's that simple. When it's finals time, your laptop will become your best friend. After a 3 a.m. Starbucks run, when you are drooling over your textbooks in a caffeine-laced state of mind, you will want to check out Facebook for a break, and it's easiest to have a laptop for this.

The great thing about computer access is that every dorm on campus has wireless high-speed connection capabilities. You can have your computer in your lap while you study without having to sit in a desk that is smaller than your body! The great thing about computer access on campus is that if your computer ever gets a virus, there are computer technicians to help your computer to a fast recovery.
