5 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The University of Evansville is a small private school and I could not be happier. The class sizes are small which allows for teachers to know you better compared to other big schools. I joined the greek system at the school Phi Gamma Delta and it has aloowed me to grow as a person and help me serve the community.

Campus Housing: I like living on campus, I live in Morton and it is relatively comfortable and the atmosphere is a good. I believe that it is one of the best options. However the higher ceilings in Schroeder and Powell are nice too. The social atmosphere in Hughes is obviously higher because they keep their doors open because they have no AC. Hughes is also cheaper because they don't have any AC but I'm willing to pay for my air.

Campus Housing: To remain on campus, we now have more options to choose from. UE has recently built townhouses, and upperclassmen can also live in houses (which are very dated), apartments, or a suite-style dorm.

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living in the dorm halls sort of sucks. They have many issues because most of the rooms are old. I had to move into a new room before 1st semester ended due to roof leaks; they called it "fourth floor problems" and never fixed it. It was very aggravating and they never even offered a discount or money towards it or anything. There are some serious physical problems with all the halls regarding the roofs but they refuse to fix them. The space in the rooms is quite nice, but I think it is very unfortunate that to have the nicest rooms you have to be in the honors program or house in the all woman or all men halls. The co-ed ones are small and their furniture is very bulky. I wish life was more social int he dorm halls; I do not talk to anyone on my floor.

Campus Housing: The cost of campus housing it terrible. I moved in with my now husband to escape housing fees.
