2 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Not that many good looking guys on campus sadly

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I love my campus, but so far my experience with some professors have not been good. I hope next semester is much better.

1 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing is TOO expensive. Something needs to be done about this as soon as possible because commuting can be expensive.

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: A headache and very stressful. Can be distracting while trying to focus on education.

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I wish that the campus police were more active and that the campus was more secure. Anyone can enter the campus and that is frightening.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Everyone so far has seemed very accepting of all walks of life

4 College Freshman

Nightlife: Easy to get to, always public transportation. Overall fun.

5 College Freshman

Transportation: Our campus shuttle is very convenient and free.

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: The school is very strict with enforcing no drinking or drug use on campus which is comforting.

2 College Freshman

Athletics: School spirit is high, but there is few athletic participation besides the on campus gym.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Typically you can get a satisfying meal for under $10.00 within a 1 mile radius of the school. There aren't many student discounts, but there is a variety of places. I recommend Buffalo Wild Wings, Subway, Tomatillo, and Tawa.

Campus Dining: Only one place on campus

1 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: If you are conservative or not extreme liberal watch out, some professors will dislike you just for this. You will need to put up with them ranting bashing your political views and religion, avoid women's studs at all costs.

2 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Nice dining off campus but too expensive for a student who wants to save money

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: Due to the fact that Stamford campus does not have dorms for students many have to find their own off-campus housing or commute from home which often takes hours because of growing traffic both south and north bounds. To find an apartment in Stamford fairly close to campus is not a problem, but it can be pretty expensive.

Parking: Although our three story parking lot is conveniently located just across the street, crossing that street sometimes could be dangerous. With high traffic almost at all times of the day, you have to be extremely cautious for the cars that are not paying attention to pedestrians crossing.

5 College Senior

Diversity: The city of Stamford is extremely diverse. University of Connecticut Stamford campus is conveniently located in the downtown- heart of the city, where there is a huge ethnical, religious, sexual and political variety. Because of this the students on campus are very accepting and understanding.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The school is equipped with the latest technology and knowledgeable team.

Campus Dining: Food in the school cafeteria is horrible and expensive. Sorry but it's true.

Guys & Girls: Most of the girls are very chill. Easy to establish a relationship

Computers: Network is reliable for 97% of the time. Once in a while the wifi network will just go downhill, but it is fixed quickly.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: You never see any of it going on, no drinking or drug use. You really just hear about it. The school is too small for there to be a drug problem.

Off-Campus Dining: The restaurants around the area are amazing!, the campus is close to downtown where the night life is. They have the best Chinese food restaurants! The food is really affordable and easy to get to, some are in walking distance. Some restaurants accept our uconn i.d card so we get discounts at a handful of restaurants

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Uconn Stamford has a lot of apartments, the most well-known apartments are the trump towers. Its really classy but very expensive. The apartments are very close to campus which is really convenient, but since i will be commuting i haven't really looked too much into them

3 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is very safe and protective, i always feel safe, its right in the heart of the city so enforcement are everywhere. Crime on campus is something ive never witnessed or seen before
