3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: It's in Colorado Springs. The same things pop up every few miles. There are some hidden gems (free yoga, bars, coffee places) but it seems like most things close really early.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I've lived here my entire life, so sometimes it gets dull because of the monotony, but it seems like most of the students find something to do. There are a good amount of places for dancing, tons of cultural events, and an amazing amount of outdoor events and sports or activities to do.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: If shopping and eating out are your deal breakers then the Springs has just about everything you need. The scenery here is absolutely gorgeous. Pike Peaks is always amazing to watch during sunset/rise. Garden of the Gods is a fun and free attraction to visit and just walk around and get fresh air. Safety within the city varies depending on which side of the city you are living.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There are a lot of touristy things to do in Colorado Springs but you have to get away from campus.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Not great, but still places to go out and have fun.
