3 College Junior

Scholarships: I am working on some scholarships, but using mostly student loans. I am trying to find Scholarships that will work with a Master's program and help me get to where I want.

Health & Safety: The safety of the students and staff is very important to the University.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Colorado Springs is more a Military town rather than a College town. There are a number of dining options available from fast food to sit-down restaurants.

4 College Junior

Facilities: The facilities on campus are great. They are accessible to all students with or without disabilities. The campus has stayed very 'green' with the lawns and use of solar power to help charge laptops and other accessories.

Overall Experience: The prospect of an internship is almost guaranteed. The school works with many different organizations to be able to properly place us where we can get the best experience for our careers. The fact that the University of Colorado is an accredited and well known school only serves to make it an even better choice.

Overall Experience: My experience at UCCS is incredible. The professors and staff have all been very helpful and encouraging.

College Junior

Campus Housing: I live off campus so I am unable to speak to this topic.

5 College Junior

Diversity: I have always had a diverse group of friends. My own background after leaving home allows me the ability to associate with people from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.

College Junior

Nightlife: I do not participate in the club scene so I am unable to speak to this topic.

College Junior

Greek Life: There is a multi-cultural office on campus that caters to the various cultures and ethnicity on campus. There are people from the Middle East as well as from Europe, India, and other nations.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: I live off campus so I do not know much about the dorm life. The campus is strict, but it is due to wanting to have a safe and inviting atmosphere for all the students.

College Junior

Campus Dining: I do not know much about the dining options yet, as I have only had one meal and that was prepared by a chef in Clyde's on campus. The regular dining is not open currently due to changes in management and the summer semester.

Academics: The academics at UCCS are great. The professors truly care about helping the students to make it through the program. They also keep an appropriate level of work going for their students and help whenever needed. The registration and interviewing process were incredible and made me want to be a part of this program even more.

Academics: I am studying for a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. The program that UCCS offers is the only one of its kind that I have seen here in Colorado. The students are encouraged to grow personally as well as professionally. The professors start working with the students during the first semester to prepare them for internships and job opportunities that will best fit where the student wants to go. The workload is just right for the program and the curriculum is interesting and engaging.

Guys & Girls: The guys and girls at my school open and accepting of people just as they are. The students are friendly, smart, and generally outgoing. They seem to be very helpful and genuinely concerned about making the campus life good experience.

College Senior

Greek Life: I have no knowledge about this.

Health & Safety: There are emergency buttons across campus and it's pretty safe.

Campus Strictness: If you get caught, they are very strict on the policies. However, it seems like no one is looking out to enforce them, except parking.

Athletics: I don't usually pay attention to the athletics.

4 College Senior

Academics: The professors are pretty great. They are knowledgeable, helpful, and (usually) fair. There are plenty of options to get further involved in your area of study, too.

2 College Senior

Scholarships: There are a few scholarships. It's probably about average.

2 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: It's the same few places you see everywhere. The prices are not good at most of the restaurants and if you want any vegan/vegetarian options then you're going to struggle.

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: It's in Colorado Springs. The same things pop up every few miles. There are some hidden gems (free yoga, bars, coffee places) but it seems like most things close really early.

2 College Senior

Campus Housing: Many of my friends say it is the absolute worst living in the dorms here.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Boys and girls are ok here, but nothing spectacular. You can really see why Colorado is high on the worst dressed list, but everyone is pretty athletic.
