3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: The campus security isn't too strict. I see them around sometimes but not much occurs hear so it's good. Other than a few vehicle accidents and invalid parking I haven't seen them often, but I know that they are there just in case anything happens.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: As a Communication major there are several options I have. I can go into advertising, film and tv production, video editing, computers, public relations, and various media sources. There is a lot of work that goes into it but not too much and I believe it's worth it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The dorms look okay. I live off campus and have only been in a dorm room once but the place doesn't look half-bad. It does seem more convenient like if you're taking night classes or want to go to certain events. The dorms fill up quickly and can be a bit expensive.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: We have a recreational center where there's a gym, climbing wall, workout room, and other things. The workout room covers most of the second floor and it has various exercise machines from treadmills to exercise bikes.

3 College Sophomore

Nightlife: We do have a few events every now and then like with movie nights, games, and concerts, but most of the time it's quiet.

4 College Freshman

Majors: Mechanical Engineering 4th in the nation

4 College Freshman

Majors: tough program, but plenty of resources

3 College Freshman

Transportation: I took the shuttle once from 4 diamonds because I couldn't find parking on campus. Parking was still a hassle and the shuttle took almost 40 minutes.

College Freshman

Campus Housing: I don't live on campus and I never have. I have only heard rumors.

2 College Freshman

Weather: It's so cold and windy and because the parking situation really sucks, sometimes it isn't even worth it to go to class.

College Freshman

Nightlife: I haven't been to any parties at my school. I have too much homework!

2 College Freshman

Scholarships: I'm struggling to pay rent, but I was awarded financial aid and it was provided to me.

3 College Freshman

Computers: There are computers available all over campus, but the internet is often slow, and the computer labs can become crowded very quickly.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The workload outside of class is challenging, but manageable. However, students who maintain jobs have a challenge.

3 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: There are different things to do, but most of it costs money.

4 College Freshman

Majors: As long as you keep your grades up, there are people around to help you accomplish what you want to.

College Freshman

Majors: I haven't applied to a specific program yet

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: There's a shuttle that takes students to and from housing.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: I've gotten a parking ticket because I misunderstood the visitor parking situation. I paid $200 to be able to park on campus though.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Everyone's different... I can't really report any stereotypes.

College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: I do not live off campus and do not plan to.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: The Rec center is fantastic for both athletes and non athletes. It provides a variety of workout areas (cardio, weights, basketball courts, etc.) and classrooms for different workout classes. Excellent gym and is also free!

4 College Freshman

Transportation: I use the school shuttle or bus when I need to get to a class on the far side of campus. The shuttles are very easy to use and come about every 10-15 minutes. The best part is that the shuttles are FREE!

3 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Some students do participate in the drug scene and the most popular two would marijuana and alcohol. I am not usually too bothered by these drugs because I do not party and live on a nursing based floor. The school is safe though and public safety gets involved with drug situations that are a threat to one's life.

3 College Freshman

Weather: The local weather can be hot or cold depending on the season. Compared to my home, the campus can often get snowy and rainy depending on the season. There has been a couple times the campus has canceled classes because of the weather, but usually public safety plows the roads to keep them clear for students driving and walking.
