3 College Junior

Health & Safety: we have an open campus so at night you shouldn't walk by yourself

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: The amount of safety patrol taking students to their cars at night could be increased, as I have only seen a one or two driving by without stopping to ask if people need rides. They usually wait for the bystander to ask them.

5 College Freshman

Health & Safety: They do a good job with these issues.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: The campus offers many resources for anyone who needs any type of help.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: I feel safe walking on campus. At least once a month we will receive an e-mail regarding some kind of assault or attacker to be wary about though. We have security areas located in many areas that you can go to and press a button if you feel threatened where our campus police will find you.

If you are considering doing something illegal on campus, don't do it; you'll most likely be caught. UCF has its own police station located on campus, and many officers can be found patrolling the campus. Always drive with caution and obey the speed limits; there's often an officer with a radar gun waiting in the wings. I guess if this is the worst thing that UCF students have to worry about, then it can't be all that bad; Right? Absolutely.

Don't hesitate to call for a Safe Ride if you're on campus after dusk. This is an excellent service that UCF provides so that you'll arrive safely at your destination, whether it be the parking garage or your dorm room.
