5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I have never felt unsafe on campus. There are emergency posts everywhere so if any danger were to arise, it's easy to alert the police.

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: Most camput security calls arrive in like less that 5 mintues of you calling them. They are pretty awesome.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: For a large school, the personal safety and health safety of students is very noticeable important to the school. The health center offers basic services for free and discounted rates for anything that causes charges. It is easy to access and well organized. The police action is always quick when needed. Speeding around campus is well monitored and safety rides are offered at night to students walking to their cars or to campus buildings.

5 College Senior

Health & Safety: There is not much security presence, but when there is an incident the police are usually there within minutes. Plenty of emergency phones around the campus in case of danger, but not as much police presence as I would like.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Many lit paths and emergency posts. Most of the time there isn't a problem

If you are considering doing something illegal on campus, don't do it; you'll most likely be caught. UCF has its own police station located on campus, and many officers can be found patrolling the campus. Always drive with caution and obey the speed limits; there's often an officer with a radar gun waiting in the wings. I guess if this is the worst thing that UCF students have to worry about, then it can't be all that bad; Right? Absolutely.

Don't hesitate to call for a Safe Ride if you're on campus after dusk. This is an excellent service that UCF provides so that you'll arrive safely at your destination, whether it be the parking garage or your dorm room.
