3 College Junior

Academics: Alot of the good majors require applying for the programs and it makes it difficult for those that really like that field to get in.

4 College Junior

Academics: I like my program a lot but it is really hard to get into the program.

2 College Junior

Drug Safety: Everyone pretty much smokes and drink, on day to day basis or either every weekend.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Everyone looks the same, like the typical descriptions of guys and girls

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: We do have Seps, and that is good at night time, but I have never used it before because I feel safe.

3 College Junior

Nightlife: The night life really depends on what things you like to do and music you like well in response to clubs. But for house parties there are some every weekend.

4 College Junior

Diversity: I must say coming to school I seen many people with different diversities, and UCF is great for that.

3 College Junior

Weather: If it rains, its awful because our campus has so many uncovered spots.

4 College Junior

Athletics: The athletics are very important, of course the bigger sports get more limelight but everyone supports.

3 College Junior

Parking: I park in the free lot, so I cannot complain about the distance.

5 College Junior

Drug Safety: I have never seen or been offered drugs on campus.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The food is good, but it's mostly fast food. There is a lack of healthy food options off-campus.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: At my school there isn't a lot of crime so the need for campus police is minimal. The health center is extremely helpful, fast, and clean.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: My school is pretty strict in areas like underage drinking and drug use. They are not strict on class attendance and cigarette smoking which i like.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Campus life is great. With the athletic centers, student union, and student lounge areas, there is always something to do and people to meet in your free time.

4 College Junior

Nightlife: I do not live right next to campus but had few opportunities to visit few places there. Good value and fun atmosphere.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: Honestly, not really sure as I do not actually live on campus.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I love my school. UCF knight spirit is powerful, I feel like a part of a family. The values like integrity are very important and close to my personal values so it is easy for me to be a part of community. Volunteering options are available, stadium offers free games for enrolled students, and courteous staff always directs and helps to solve problems. Library is really big (4 stores), with endless resources; sports center is amazing, and campus itself is really pleasant to spend your time at.

4 College Junior

Academics: There is plenty of academics offered in my school. Some offer few professors teaching subjects, others offer a couple or only one professor. Registration process is quite easy, friendly stuff helps to resolve problems and answer questions. Workload will depend on chosen professor, type and amount of classes taken.

4 College Junior

Academics: I study Accounting, and I am able to use UCF facilities to help myself succeed. Can use computer lab, student center, tutoring opportunities. There is an experiential learning center helping me connect with business world and find job/internship opportunities. There are plenty of fraternities as well.

4 College Junior

Computers: Computer labs are always available for enrolled students, speed is good, and there are many opportunities to network . May bring your own computer if you wish.

3 College Junior

Transportation: I do not use UCF transportation but when I am on campus, often see buses picking the students up and dropping them off frequently.

3 College Junior

Campus Housing: Myself I do not live on campus. From my friends who live on campus, I heard it was really convenient and clean but square footage was a bit small. Overall, good.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel safe walking around the campus. Never had the situation when I would be harassed or offended by anyone. I can see security cars driving by from time to time.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Myself I do not live on campus. When I do come to the main campus, I use library, visit Student Center, Sports Center, Business School Building, some other facilities like restaurant and Book Store. I love our campus. It is huge, with a lot of facilities giving the opportunities to learn, communicate with stuff, and network. Everyone seems friendly and accustomed to local university traditions. I always enjoy being on campus, surrounded with UCF knights (students), always willing to help.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
