Transportation: The fact that the ucf shuttles go so many places is fantastic and it's free makes it even better!

Parking: Not to bad with the amount of students at the school...nothing to complain about really a except the price of permit is outrageous.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Not to bad...have many different options so that's good...can't really complain..need better landlords

Nightlife: Nightlife is cool...don't really experience much though

Academics: In the engineering department we receive so many emails on internship/job opportunities and also notifications about being able to join certain clubs and fraternities. They really keep you up to date on all events and opportunities that Re happening. Advising is also wonderful and Carol Ann gives her best all the time to help as much as she can.

Academics: Only can describe the options and accessibility to the programs offered at UCF... Fantastic!

Computers: Access to the computers are good and speed is fantastic. There are plenty of labs that are accessible and the wireless connection is fantastic at any area of the school. I am very satisfied with the efficiency of the computers...they keep the computers in perfect condition.

Greek Life: I'm not part of Greek life, so that's my perspective on the topic: there is a "greek row" of houses, but honestly, it doesn't impede upon anyone. You can be as involved or uninvolved--yes, there are students who are definitely the stereotype of greek life, but there are so many people to meet that it becomes a small, insignificant percentage. If you are interested in greek life or not, you'll be fine and find your niche!

Guys & Girls: Again, there are 50,000 students here-- you'll find ALL walks of life. It's great because there is a huge variety and plenty of opportunities to go out and meet people.

Computers: Students get 100 Free prints each week. It's great, and useful. Most students bring their own laptops--the guest WiFi is a little funky, so I suggest using UCF-WPA2. You have to plug in your NID, but that's only once--you do it that one time, and you are autmoatically connected every time you are near campus. There are quite a few computer labs, but the school is large, so they can get crowded.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
