Facilities: Most of the buildings are new and updated and can accommodate the large amount if students. However the library is a bit too small considering the amount of students.

3 College Junior

Athletics: They could be a lot better if there was more school spirit regarding them, like attending games and supporting the teams.

5 College Junior

Majors: I plan to have an internship because I am required to have at least 2 for my major. I have zero concerns because UCF is all about finding internships for their students. There are even internship fairs for people to find the one best suited for them!

Majors: There is only one class keeping me from entering the advertising and public relations major. There is an interview process then a written essay process in order to get into the major and it is pretty straight forward. Just do your best and you'll most likely be able to get in!

Off-Campus Housing: There are definitely some off campus housing properties that have their problems (Sterling and Northgate) while others (Knights Circle) are amazing. There are so many great amenities available to use at almost any time of day. Prices are reasonable for the space and amenities. There are many places off campus to live that have direct shuttles to campus. No having to pay for a city bus pass just to get to campus and end up stuck in traffic and late. Off campus housing is so much better than living on campus if you're not a freshman.

Nightlife: The night life here is phenomenal. There is always a party going on somewhere close. The bars and clubs are full of people most of the time. There are specials going on for college students whether it be for free cover or boho drinks and food. Football games are always an excuse to party hard before, during, and after. Homecoming would have to be the biggest party though because there is something going on every single night whether it be a concert, comedy night, movie night, or spirit splash; the best tradition ever!

Facilities: I love using the facilities around campus. There are tons of fields to go play a pick up game of soccer or football. There is even an ultimate frisbee course and a lake where you can go rent paddle boats and stuff. There is so much to do! Even for the studiers, there are all night study spots open 24/7 and there are always common areas that can be used. There are quiet times in place and especially during midterms and finals week. Everything is so conveniently constructed!

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: I love eating off campus because everything is always within a 5-15 minute drive. There are so many places to eat from chains, to mom and pop shops, to even hot dog stands at the local shopping center. There are also food trucks on certain days if you know where yo go. There are always options whether you want to eat at 3 in the afternoon or 3 in the morning.

College Junior

Diversity: There is no way to rate the diversity on campus. There are some days where you see nothing but americans that were born and raised here for generations and then there are some days where just every foreign student and visitor from the entire world are here for a tour or something. There is no way to rely rate how diverse the school is without coming here and seeing for yourself.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: There are tons of ways to get food on campus. There are places to order and they'll deliver it to you. There are food chains placed conveniently. There is a huge variety of places to eat in the student union alone. The meal plan is definitely something to get for the freshmen because of convenience. The chains offer better prices than the meal plan per meal, but other than that's it's pretty good here.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
