Majors: Typical Internship for Elementary Education – I have not had my internship yet, but I plan on starting in the Spring. I do not have any concerns for finding my internship since the school sets you up with your school. You may put three top choices down where you would like to work, and it is chosen based on your school level. I have done many volunteer hours in particular schools where, hopefully I can internship in as well.

4 College Senior

Academics: I am in Elementary Education, and I have really enjoyed my teachers and all the insight they have given to us. The workload can be pretty heavy at times when you include homework, volunteer/observation hours and internships. There are excellent ways to get into job opportunities through visiting local schools. The facilities are nice, and I am typically on the same track as my fellow classmates, so we can help support each other.

Academics: They Put You Right in the Field – I love the college of education. We do so many activities in the class that pertain to real world situations and we also have a classroom simulation called teachME. Students are also required to spend several hours at local schools for many of the classes to get the feel of what it is like day to day in the real world.

Local Atmosphere: Everything You Could Want – Orlando can be seen as a central hub between all of the attractions, businesses and schools in the surrounding area. There is a plethora of activities that one could do if you can find the time in between classes.

Local Atmosphere: I am at the Cocoa campus this semester, and I really like it. It is a drive for me, but it is worth it, because I do not have to drive around to find a parking spot for very long. I have many classes with the same people, so we can participate in a lot of the same events and activities.

Majors: Anything You Want. I am majoring in health sciences. I didn't have to write an essay or apply to another department in order to be in my major. A lot of other majors are the same thing. Only a few require extra from you. My major is pretty popular, so there are many classes available. In other words, admission was very easy.

4 College Junior

Academics: You Can Do It! There are many classes available to you. You can register, add, or drop classes on your own, online. If you have any questions you can call or make an appointment with your advisor. Every week they have a day where advisors accept walk-ins without an appointment. The classes can sometimes be big but professors have many teaching assistant. They hold SI sessions and desk hours. the teaching assistants are really quick in giving you feedback. For a big school they offer a lot of help to students.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Never a Dull Moment – Though it is a big school, it doesn't feel that way at all. The way the school is set up is very convenient. They always have activities on campus. There are hundreds of clubs to join and be a part of. The campus has great places to eat, gyms, pools, convenience stores, pharmacy, and even a health center. You have everything at your finger tips. Orlando is a great city, you are close to everything you need, and you cant forget Disney World. Crossing the street from campus you have a variety of bars and clubs. The night life is good and UCF makes it easy to to go out. You don't need a car, they provide shuttles and buses everywhere for free. Its great to be a KNIGHT!!

5 College Freshman

Academics: Engineering Work Hard Today, Guranteed Success Tomorrow – ucf's engineering program is one of the best in the country, although there might be an abundance of math classes once you get the hang of it and learn to manage your time wisely youl breeze right through. im not saying it'll be easy but deffinitley worth it. ucf makes sure that all its student attain finantially stable jobs that not only you'll enjoy but bring money

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: well ucf is one of the largest univerities we have here in florida and i gurantee you that there is always something to do like joining a sorority or club or even if your not into that kind of thing a beach is 45 minutes away, disney world, universal, islands of adventure, are also just a short drive away. the atmosphere is amazing, with great scenery a wellness center if you want to loose those extra pounds including personal trainers and specialty classes. also a broad display of places to dine on campus. whatever tingles your taste buds we have it from sushi to tacos, fruit to candy. also students here receive discounts to close by theme parks including the ones mentioned above. also if lets say you want your nails done or need a hair cut there is a nail and hair salon right on campus. you'll forget that your even going to college.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: UCF's Orlando campus is located near many attractions and night life. Other regional UCF campuses are located in Cocoa FL and Daytona FL. Both of these campuses are easily accessible and great for students not living on campus, but the campus "atmopshere" resides in Orlando.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
