Facilities: Excellent Library – UCF makes sure students have all the resources required to receive the best possible education. The library is very extensive with a computer lab, coffee shop, five floors of books, two floors dedicated to peace and quiet for studying and is open all hours of the night. They also hold events closer to finals to aid students with studying.

Scholarships: Easy Aid – I have never had a problem with the financial aid office. Its always been on time as long as i turned in the paperwork on time. So I would just suggest turn in required forms on time and you wouldnt have anything to worry about.

Off-Campus Dining: Offcampus Food – A lot of yogurt shops offer student discounts. But not the actual food places. Even places that have discounts arent that cost efficient. There are a lot of restaurants around ucf, and good ones too. They do tend to get pricy.

Campus Dining: The dining hall at ferrel commons has great choices for food and the prices arent that bad either. Over all its the best choice for a meal plan on campus.

Majors: Early Childhood Education – The college of Education at UCF ensures that the students have all of the materials that they need to succeed successfully after graduation. The advisors at the college of Education are very helpful and empathic when it comes to picking classes and making sure that we are on track for graduation. I really enjoy all of the 'clinical' experience that we get. We are constantly being put into classrooms all around Orlando to see the do's and dont's of teachers. After graduating from UCF I plan on getting a career in teaching abroad. I want to utilize my skills in different parts of the world and really make a difference.

Parking: Permit Cost – The parking situation on our campus is very good. There are a large amount of lots and garages for students to park in. And the cost of a 3 semester permit is fairly priced (especially compared to other schools surrounding us)

3 College Senior

Nightlife: Club Scene – I think that the club scene around UCF is pretty fun. There is always some where to go any night of the week and you are guaranteed to know at least one person when you go out. The bars around campus are all 18 and up which is good because more people come out.

Scholarships: The deadlines and rules for financial aid are constantly changing. Last year I missed the deadline for aid by one day and there was absolutely no exception even though I was the most qualified applicant (having two unemployed parents). I find it a little disheartening that an individual with more family income received that aid because they applied one day before me.

Athletics: Need a New Coach! Our University offers top of the line sport facilities and all the building blocks for a successful sports team except a good football coach. Games are lost due to George O' Leary's bad decision making. The team needs a coach that will assist them with their rise to the top.

Off-Campus Dining: Dining on Every Corner – Their are so many dining options that the average four year student will not have enough time to visit each resturant. Convenience is emplified with numerous restuarants walking distance to the campus and its affiliated apartments. The one thing missing from this area is a health food store. The only nearby options for groceries are publix and walmart which do not entirely cater to the organic, allergen free or local produce markets.

Transportation: Shuttles Are Great – The school provides shuttle free of cost, that transport students from their off campus housing to the university. The shuttles are very convenient.

Campus Housing: It is very convenient to live on campus, because finding parking is one of the main issue of this university. Living on campus make for less tardiness, and more involvement in on campus activities.

Local Atmosphere: Embracing Diversity – Orlando is very diverse;it is certainly a melting pot. It is great, because you get exposed to people of different races, ethnicities, etc..

Guys & Girls: Where Have the Good Men Gone? The guys so far at UCF are average, but I wish there were MORE hotter, INTELLIGENT, single guys who perfer long relationships. I swear, feels like all the good men have dissapeared. Most guys I've seen are self-centered, don't take care of themselves and are players. Seriously? Players? Won't give you the time of day.

Campus Dining: Good, but Could Be Better – The food variety is good. I wish there was more variety in the food since after a while it becomes old. I would suggest every once in a while that there me some sort of cafeteria setting with more variety of food available for purchase (particularly for those without a meal plan). It would be nice to have healthy, wholesome choices.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Very Safe – UCF's campus is very safe. There are campus security always driving around, surveillance cameras and emergency call stands around the school.

5 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Great College Living – The Off-capus apartments are a great option for those who like personal space. Most units have private bedrooms and bathrooms with individual leases. There are plenty of amenities included so the rent is worth it. Plus, its reasonably priced.

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I am not part of the greek life and never really paid much attention to it, but on campus it seems to be so-so of importance.

3 College Junior

Facilities: UCF offers a plethora of facilities available to students. There are plenty of niches and open spaces for students to find a relaxing spot to study or just take a break. The gym has been recently expanded and the equipment is very up to date and useful. The library contains five levels, all of which have their own "personality". The upper levels are for quiet study and the lower levels are for lounging and "less quiet" study. Food-wise, there's always a shop within walking distance to fill an empty stomach, quench a longing thirst, or just to energize a worn out body with some coffee. The general campus aesthetics is not too pleasing, though. The newer buildings are very welcoming and appealing. The older buildings, such as the Chemistry building and Engineering I building detract from the campus' overall appeal.

5 College Junior

Computers: At the UCF campus nobody is ever left without a computer. Almost every building is equipped with computer labs and printing services. The best part is that most buildings have labs specifically geared towards your major. The crowd is usually spread out and not too overwhelming. The wifi is extremely quick and readily available anywhere and everywhere on campus. Keep up the great work UCF!

4 College Freshman

Facilities: BFA Theatre Program – If you're looking to make a career out of theatre and want to stay in the state of Florida, the program at UCF is unbeatable. They have specialty tracks for Musical Theatre, Acting, Stage Management, and Design (also, the less intensive BA Theatre Studies, Theatre minor, and Dance minor programs). The program is built to train professionals, and there is plenty of intensive, hands-on education.

Diversity: I'll use market day as an example. On market day, every Wednesday, those who sign up can go set up a stand and get attention for their club, product, service, etc. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a yoga club, UCF Conservatives, UCF Democrats, a random group of Mormons, nightclub promoters, a couple of men selling their peace-themed tie-dye shirts, a Mary Kaye makeup stand, and a blood donation truck. This is our campus. It's diverse, to say the least.

3 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Plenty of Choices – If you stay nearby, there are many different places to eat, including (but certainly not limited to!) Chipotle, Denny's, Chik-Fil-A, couple of more upscale steakhouses, and a local novelty barbecue place. If you happen to travel just a bit too far though, the choices get very scarce very quickly. Stay close!

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: Wonderful School! Everyone I've encountered has been more than helpful and nice. There is a sense of pride with almost all students. The campus is clean and you can feel a sense of history. I would apply here for my master's in a heartbeat!

4 College Junior

Greek Life: I personally do not participate in the Greek Life, but from what I can see it appears to be very active. I've seen some of the houses and they are nice, and there is a store with all the fraternities and sororities' shirts and such.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
