4 College Freshman

Facilities: One of the main reasons why I chose to come to UCF was because of all the facilities they have to offer. They literally have the best gym I've ever attended. All the recreational sites are amazing. Overall the campus is very modern which is something very necessary for our generation. I am very happy with the decision I made.

Academics: Haven't Taken Any Major Classes – At the moment I have decided to only take my core classes, such as english, math, science, and the elective classes. I feel like it will be better in the future since I will be able to fully enjoy my major classes.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Athletic Facility – The athletic facility on campus is Amazing! It is very complex, so anyone can go there and exercise at any level. There are many different free classes to take, and staff there to assist you with anything you need. The Recreation center is motivation in itself because it is so big, clean, and beautiful!

5 College Junior

Health & Safety: I feel extremely comfortable around campus, knowing that there are Emergency poles everywhere so if I feel threatened I can easily push a button and the police will be there within minutes. Knowing that the UCF police is available 24/7 and close by is very reassuring. Also, I highly appreciate the cleanliness of all facilities and maintenance of the rest rooms, A cleaner environment will lead to a healthier one.

Transportation: Student Apartments off campus constantly have a shuttle running from 7am-10pm. This is very helpful. As for night life it would be nice to have a 7 night a week bus being as 2 nights is not enough and also does not stop at every complex. With the bars not being in walking distance, DUI's can become a problem.

4 College Senior

Parking: Drug Scene – I have never encountered drugs on campus nor has drinking been an issue. Tailgating has always been a safe and fun event for all of the students. The campus police have always been going around checking id's.

Greek Life: Oh Them Kappas – I really don't know anything about the greek life except that you have to pay $2,000 to get in.

5 College Junior

Facilities: Best Rec Center on the Earth – The rec center has everything you could want out of a rec center, from a 3 story rock wall, to a spinning class. If you want that beach body you would definitely get it from going there with the help from personal trainers and the subway restaurant in the facility.

3 College Junior

Computers: Network Reliability and Speed – The network speed on campus is not dirt slow but its not the fastest either. It does its best for the amount of students on campus.

1 College Junior

Scholarships: just apply for many scholarships. they heavily enforce fafsa at ucf but i dont think everyone who deserves fafsa aid receives it.

5 College Junior

Transportation: the public transportation at UCF is very good. there is always a bus heading in the direction of which you need to go. Very rarely do you have to drive yourself anywhere.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing at UCF is decent. Some apartments are very asthetically pleasing but the rooms are VERY small for the price. On the other hand there are afew complexes with low prices, decent size rooms, and include the convenience of having an attached bathroom to the bedroom. Plus they offer complimentary shuttles to and from the university all day. It's definitely a better deal to live off campus.

3 College Junior

Athletics: Sport Crazy – UCF loves sports. Our football team is finally getting noticed for how good they are and is helping the students become one with the school. Today you see more students wearing UCF clothing than in the past few years. Our basketball team is a great strong team and our coachs really push these students to have good grades in order these sports, so they are not all jocks.

4 College Junior

Diversity: UCF is now the third largest University in the Nation. We have so many different religions, races, and cultures at UCF. It makes the school unique in what they offer and UCF allows these diverse group to show their culture is different activies. Everyone is accept at UCF (old, young, white, asian) that what makes it great. UCF hasnt had problems with ethnic, political, religion or sexual orientaiton issues because people at UCF know how to respect other and to accept peoples difference and be open minded to learn.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Most restraunt or dinner near UCF have an older fused environment. The prices are higher due to the living expenses near UCF, but they do special events or discount on nights to get students in. All the restraunts are right down the main road from the school so it is very convenient and it is a nice variety of Mexican, Italian, Asian, American, etc... I dont have a favorite because each place has been good so far. Just depends on UCF students taste.

4 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: It's huge and pretty nice to look at. There are over 300 organizations on campus and one can always find something to do. The resources such as scholarships, career development and study-abroad programs, are spectacular also.

3 Recent Alumnus

Transportation: The shuttles on-campus run parallel with classes. They usually have space and A/C. They should, students pay a transportation fee every semester for it!

Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: Off-Campus Student Housing – I had the pleasure of not living on campus because of the limited availability. I did, however, live in student housing off-campus and it was horrid. Mold, bad management and crime. The only benefits were the private bathrooms/bedrooms and the school's shuttle.

4 College Junior

Transportation: UCF offers buses that come around very 30 minutes to transport one around town. If one rides it all the time, it can get expensive. The buses are nice because one does not have to fight traffic.

3 College Junior

Parking: Finding parking is somewhat hard. If you get to school 20 minutes early to make sure you can park and get to class on time. The price of parking is the worst. It is so expensive to park on campus.

3 College Junior

Computers: Printing Classwork – Almost all the teachers on campus request that one prints out assignments, powerpoints, and lecture notes. This does not include the papers and projects one needs to turn in. Printing out all of this information is very easy to do but gets very expensive. I think the teachers could help out a little more since I am paying all of this money into the school.

4 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Every Nights Are Packed With Events and Activities. University of Central Florida you will find several nigt time events like concerts, comedy shows, movie night and much more. Some other night are packed with sports like knights footbal, baseball, soccer, and so on.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Hot Girls Everywhere – Most of the guys and girls are great looking, perfectly dressed, and somewhat helpful.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: University of Central Florida is a great university. There are many educational and professional opportunities for student to participate.University of Central Florida is located at Orlando, FL. Orlando is a big city with all kind of attractions like Disney World,Sea World, Universal Studion and much more. Becase of this students get the opportunity to interact with different culture, people from all over the world. Many job oppening, but most of the jobs are during the period of classes. Also, apartments in orlando are very expensive.Living and taking classes at Univercity of Central Florida is expensive.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
