Diversity: Variety of Races – On the University of Central Florida's Orlando campus, no race, religious background, or sexual orientation is a stranger. The diversity on this campus is immense, and extends throughout each of the plethora of organizations this school has to offer.

Parking: Garages are hopelessly packed in the morning after 10am or so but if you have night classes there is plenty of parking. You can also walk/ride shuttle buses/bike/etc. Parking decal (sticker for outside of car) is around $45 per semester I believe, optional hang tag instead of a permanent sticker is over $70/semester but I like it because you can remove it when not on campus and hide it to prevent people from targeting your vehicle for valuables. (Thieves know college students have expensive textbooks, electronics, etc. - you are in a big city. Common sense is important).

College Senior

Campus Housing: Don't know personally because I live off campus but my friends seem to enjoy it.

Facilities: Rec & Wellness Center – Awesome gym! What other school has a rock climbing wall, several basketball courts, indoor elevated track over the basketball courts, swimming pools, etc? My favorite part of UCF!

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of Options – being right in orlando, there are a lot of dining options right off campus! whatever your in the mood for is always available.

4 College Freshman

Computers: Awesome Facilities – The computer services at UCF are great. There are tons of computer labs with plenty of computers and printers, etc. There is also a printing lab that allows free printing to students!!

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Off-campus housing for UCF students is wonderful! There are many living establishments that are right down the street from the university. The location of off-campus housing is so conveniently placed that having a car isn't totally necessary.

Campus Dining: Dining Options Review – The multiple on-campus restaurants that UCF offers is great. They all come in handy when I'm all out of groceries or don't want to cook. Meal plans are a smart idea for freshmen that were reliant upon their parent's cooking and whatnot.

Health & Safety: Campus Safety – Generally, the University of Central Florida provides a great deal of campus safety and security. I have never felt unsafe on campus, and I've always been giving (through many emails) the proper precautions to take in order to avoid theft and other issues.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Meet New People – UCF is the second largest school in the country and you will meet a wide array of people. The student government association offers a lot of extra activities on campus and really makes it easy for you to meet new people.

3 College Junior

Transportation: When you live in off campus student housing they have a shuttle that comes to pick you up. Depending on where you live and traffic the shuttle can take you 10-45mins to get to campus. The only problem with the shuttle is that they don't really run on a set schedule but they do run frequently. Also taking the shuttle saves you money and hassle by not having to pay for the parking decal or search for parking.

Weather: IT IS ALWAYS HOT AND SUNNNY HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA

1 College Junior

Parking: Permits are expensive and there are no parking spaces. You need to be on campus over an hour before class starts.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: both the guys and girls vary at our school. With over 50,000 people there is every type of person someone could want.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: Great Environment – I go to an awesome school. My university provides me with so many useful resources. I loved living in the dorms my freshman year because I was able to really get to know the campus and the campus activities. My school might be one of the largest, but it is still easy to get around and everything is pretty organized. I would definitely choose my school again if I had to do it all over. I met wonderful people and am in wonderful organizations. My classes are helpful and I am definitely learning. Even living off campus, I love going to school and seeing all the people in my school. I love that my school has so many people and so many cultures and varieties.

Computers: There are so many different ways to get your work done on campus. The library has hundreds of computers and when you cant find one, you can rent one for a few hours. If you don't feel like paying to print, they have two writing labs in the Student Union. The one downstairs is for fast printing and the one upstairs you can be there as long as you want and both are free printing. There are also different computer labs around campus in some of the other buildings. The speed is good even on your phone but when everyone is on, then it can be a little slow. But what do you expect from a 50,000 populated campus?

5 College Sophomore

Majors: I do plan to have an internship once I progress my academic year at UCF. The reason is because I want to learn and grow as a student and in the future pass it on as a teacher. My major is sports and fitness. It will allow me to give students the ability to learn and apply to what they learn in class to improve their physical and mental state. I do have concerns about finding one, but I am confident that I will find the right one in due time.

Off-Campus Housing: Knights Circle – Knights Circle offer convenience to their residents by offering the shuttle transit to school at no charge. The pros of living in Knights Circle is the close proximity to school as well as supermarkets such as Publix and Walmart. CVS is right next to Knights Circle which is only a walk away. The availability is excellent since the staff at Knights Circle did reserve the 3rd floor for me which is great. I have no complaints about the cost since the apartment comes with furnishing as well as electricity being included with the rent. In addition, I do have my own bathroom. The only con I do have about Knights Circle, however, is their lack of pairing me with good roommates. Overall, Knights Circle is worth checking out.

Facilities: I enjoy the UCF rec center. The staff are very friendly and helpful to the students. I asked one of the staff members to spot me and he was very helpful in making sure I have proper technique and to get my work out in. Two floors of various weight and cardio machines, you can not go wrong with that. With basketball courts, an outdoor lap pool, a rock climbing tower,as well as an indoor track to run at my own pace, makes me feel great. Sometimes I cannot find the time to do certain workouts, that I sign up their free group exercises class which motivates me to work out. There is also a Subway in the rec center to grab a quick bite as a reward for a good job well done. I highly recommend this rec center to all UCF students and faculty.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: This campus is the largest in the country, so there are always fun events to go to. There is also a club for virtually every interest.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: This school is great if you want a quality education. There are also always events going on. The only thing I dislike about this school is the fact that it is so far away from my family and friends.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Good School – overall great school. only bad part is the parking! i love the engineering program. great teachers and great campus at a good price

1 College Junior

Parking: The parking is bad. Very hard to get what you want

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: UCF is a wonderful campus with great facilities. The on campus housing is very good/.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: Not the Best – The night life is really nonexistent around campus, however there is City Place (Universal Orlando's night life area), Downtown Disney, and Church Street.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
