4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: UCF has a diverse population with many students, but there are many well to do families and students that expect things to be handed to them. Much of the population is in shape and focuses a lot on looks. Partying and the music scene is huge at UCF.

5 College Junior

Transportation: The UCF main campus provides a bus to and from the Rosen Campus. Which is really convenient for the the students who live on or near main campus and have classes at Rosen and vice vera.

3 College Junior

Guys & Girls: Rosen Campus – The Rosen Campus is mainly girls. There are very few boys that go to the Rosen Campus, they are normally restaurant management majors or theme park and lodging majors.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Student Lounge at Rosen – Great quite place to get homework done. Also a great place to meet up with group members to work on projects.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Extremely Diverse – UCF is one of the most diverse places I have ever seen. It is filled with people of all kinds of backgrounds. One can hear every language by just walking around. Religion and sexual orientation have complete freedom and are encouraged to flourish. If anyone needs a place where they won't be discriminated against, UCF is the perfect campus.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Very Safe – UCF is inmensly concerned about safety and security all around. There are police officers in many areas ready to help, there is a late night escort for people who might need it, and there are many cameras to protect persona belonging. I feel very safe on campus.

3 College Junior

Drug Safety: Great Awareness – There are many drug awareness programs on campus that really make the drug scene an important thing to keep your eyes open for. You don't see too many students participating in drug related issues.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It's Everywhere – There is an actual mall on the school campus. This is a great way to keep students interested and entertained on campus.

3 College Freshman

Facilities: Great but Too Many People – UCF has great facilities all around. Everything is built to comfort students and to be as useful as possible. The only problem is that as arge as all the facilities are, they cannot accomodate all the students that try to use them large part of the time. There are too many students and some faciities need expansion. Other than that they are all great.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Very Much Involved With Campus Life – There is always something going on with the sports at school. There is always a sporting event to attend every week.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: The Greek houses are where it's at. If anyone wants to attend some of the best parties, go to a frat house or a sorority house. Living next to all these houses, I can see how wild they can get and oh do they get wild. Now the only problem is, getting in...

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Girls Are Cute – So many girls left and right but who to choose from? "Ah I regret not talking to her, I should have!". That's what goes through my mind every time I pass a really cute girl. Even if you do happen to meet one though, the chance that they're actually as willing as you are to hang out is very slim.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Late Night Mcdonalds – After a long night of studying with your friends and finishing up some homework, who doesn't get hungry? McDonald's is open 24 hours serving all that is on the menu so no matter what time or what day it is, you'll always get served.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: Large Student Body – This is a pro and con to my school experience. Because we have such a large student body, there are many opportunities that are available. On the other hand, there are challenges with such a large population, such as class size, campus parking, etc.

4 College Junior

Transportation: The transportation at UCF appears to be very available; however, I have never actually utilized this service.

3 College Junior

Academics: Research Heavy – One of the pros and cons of my program is the heavy emphasis on research. There are many opportunities for some students to become involved with faculty on research projects; however, there seems to be some favoritism as to which students are actively invited to participate.

3 College Sophomore

Facilities: Somewhat Boring. I'm just here so I can get to grad school quicker, the football games are fairly exciting, though.

5 College Sophomore

Transportation: Really Convenient – There are shuttles going to and from campus and within the campus and all are free to students.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: There are students from all backgrounds and cultures. UCF is very diverse and welcoming to all cultures.

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Great Variety – There are plenty of options for off-campus dining in the area.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: About Average – I haven't really had any run-ins myself so it's hard to rate this. I know that in the dorms they are EXTREMELY strict about pot but not so much about drinking under-age. Other than that I don't know.

4 College Junior

Campus Housing: Dorm Life Is the Good Life- If You Have a Car – Now that I live off campus, I really miss my dorm! It was great to roll out of bed and into class and to live so close to friends! However, being trapped there wasn't great. So many of the restaurants close on the weekends and it can be like a ghost town. I'd recommend it if you have a car for sure.

3 College Junior

Campus Dining: Pretty Good – There are a lot of pretty good dining options around campus, both healthy and not so healthy. I would give it an A if it weren't for the meal plans- they are definitely over-priced, and a lot of the food in the two areas that mostly work for the meal plan use tons of butter in their food. Since I haven't been on a meal plan I have saved a lot of money and lost weight- even though I actually go out to eat more than I did previously.

4 College Freshman

Drug Safety: Drug Scene – The drug scene at UCF doesn't seem to be too big. It seems like everyone parties.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: There are a wide variety of fraternitys and sororities on campus ranging from regular ones to christian ones to health professionals to co-ed ones.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
