Health & Safety: campus crime doesn't seem to be too high, however whenever any types of crimes do occur, every student is notified via email. Security measures are always taken and campus police do make themselves available to anyone who may need their assistance. I don't feel unsafe, however, I do think it is necessary to always take extra precautions because you never know.

Weather: The weather in central florida is awesome. The walk to class is great when it is sunny and in the 70s. However, it is a real pain to get around when in rains, and it rains EVERYDAY in the summer.

Computers: Printing on campus is easy and free. There are two SGA labs in the Union where you can print 75 double sided sheets a week for absolutely nothing. The labs can get pretty crowded, but I think it's worth the wait. One thing I do like, is the testing labs. There is barely ever a wait time, but if there is, the labs stay open very late. You can basically test whenever you want, and you can make a reservation if you know exactly what time you want to test.

Weather: Sunshine in the Sunshine State – Great school to lounge by the pool on your off time and sunshine to study under. Most of the time anyway..
Girls, bring rainboots for those torrential downpours during hurricane season..
Other than that, flip flops and swimsuits all year long!

Parking: You learn a certain parking method that never leaves your daily habits when you graduate. You'll find yourself in a normal parking lot stalking people to their cars with your blinker on to get any spot.

Weather: Occasionally a hurricane will force the school to close for an afternoon.

Weather: The weather does not affect my campus experience. It is mostly sunny, warm, and a cool breeze.

Drug Safety: I have had few encounters with drug use on campus, however many students are involved with alcohol and marijuana consumption.

Computers: There are many computer resources, from desktop computer labs to iPad rentals. However, the wireless access and network speed is at times unreliable and slow. There are many free printing centers on campus, and the only need for a personal printer is to avoid lines at printing centers.

Overall Experience: Love It Here – UCF is everything I could have asked for in a college. There are so many student organizations that it's hard not finding one that meets your interests. The campus is beautiful and not too spread apart.

Athletics: School's Spirit Soars – Whether or not you even like watching football, you should definitely attend at least one football game. The student section is nonstop cheering and fun. During homecoming week, there is always some fun activity or event going on, and Spirit Splash is by far the best.

Athletics: Sporting Events Are Accessible – Sporting events at the University of Central Florida are very easy and affordable to attend. Basketball being a huge event for students, because all students get in free with their student ID. For football games, you enter a lottery and win a free ticket every other game! IM sports are also free to attend and participate in!

Scholarships: Financial Aid is kind of a hassle at UCF. The distribution process takes forever and there are many forms to complete. Plus those that work in the office are not the happiest of people. There are plenty of scholarships available though!

Campus Dining: The dining halls on campus are decent. The food is buffet style and many different pricing options are available. It is mostly freshman who use the dining halls. The other restaurants around campus are great! We have the usual chains, Chick-Fil-A, Burger King, Sbarro, but we also have some UCF specific dining such as Salsa 2 Go and Kyoto which are amazing!

Facilities: The facilities at the University of Central Florida are top notch! The gym was recently renovated and is now double the original size. It is amazing and offers so many various athletic activities. There is a lap pool, lounge pool, basketball and volleyball courts both indoors and out. The student union is impecable. Tons of restaurants and great hang out places inside, along with a free printing lab! The library is a slightly older building but is beautiful. The 24-hour study is a popular new addition to campus. Computer lab with free printing and 24-hour comfy study space is what attracts students here.

Scholarships: Super Easy – After filling out my fafsa for the year, the money goes directly to where it needs to on its own, whether it be housing or tuition. If there's any left over, it automatically gets mailed to you, or direct deposited into your bank account. My financial aid dealings have been smooth sailing.

Facilities: Duh..It's Orlando – Not only is the University of Central Florida located in the tourist city of Florida, but they capitalize on that. The Rosen College of Hospitality Management gives anyone the opportunity to make tourism into a career. But UCF also is very environmentally friendly, as well as having a thriving club/social scene.

Academics: Could Be Better – The University of Central Florida is huge, and it's really easy to get lost in the mix. All of my freshman classes are large lecture halls and the professors range from completely uncaring to genuine about students' education. But the overwhelming number of people makes it hard for any part of my college education up to this point to seem personal.

Transportation: Comuting Is Easy – UCF offers a busing system throughout the campus and to housing off campus. They offer a lot of parking for students who commute to the college.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: Very Diverse Populalation – UCF has a very diverse population and is subject to every race or ethnicity in the world. The campus draws a lot of people nationwide and worldwide.

4 College Freshman

Campus Dining: The food and dinning on campus is very nice. There is a wide variety of food and most is very tasty and could be eaten at anytime. The dinning areas have a very comfortable setting for having a huge student population.

4 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: Knights and Knightettes – Both sexes are usually nice and outgoing around here. There is definitely variety seeing as UCF is the 2nd largest university in America. There are city folk, rednecks, ravers, and even wanna be gangstas all around as well as the foreign students. Definitely an amazing array of students.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Dining: Waterford Dining Experiences – Down the street from UCF there is a square called "Waterford Landing" and its filled with shops and great dining areas. Vito's is the place to go when looking for good homemade Italian food and then there's always the famous Friday's and Red Lobster around as well.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: Knight Safety – I feel very safe on campus. There are lights everywhere on campus and you can see all around you even at night. There are also "Emergency Stations" that can call police to your area in 10 seconds all over campus and its guaranteed that anywhere you stand on campus at least one is visible.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
