Overall Experience: It Truly Is Great! I love UCF because of the alumni's involvement in activities such as tailgating and other school related things. The campus is beautiful and I've been to most other university campuses in Florida. By far the best one I've seen and it has the prettiest girls in Florida as well. There is definitely a huge amount of opportunity here which is very cool. What I don't like about it is that since it is so huge, being the second biggest University in the nation, You are treated basically as a number on a regular basis. Other than that I love my University and the experience I've had here.

Scholarships: Not So Easy – With Financial Aid, and with enrolling period, it wasn't so easy. I kept coming back thinking all my paperwork was done, because I simply acquired what they told me, and come to find out on 4 different occasions that I need more paper work. I almost was not able to enroll and Financial Aid went the same way.

Athletics: On the Rise – Being that UCF is a Florida university the fight for recruiting the top athletes in each respected sport is extremely difficult. Each year UCF slowly, but surely improves its ranks in the area of recruiting which reflects with the new found success that football and basketball has been experiencing these past two years. The football team defeat an SEC team in the Liberty Bowl which shows vast strides in the right direction for our school as well as giving us a stepping stone of credibility. This upcoming year now that we haved left the Conference USA and joined the BIG EAST conference we are poised for more fame and success.

Health & Safety: Very Solid – Around campus everything is pretty solid. I have no real complaints because the school does a good job at making everyone feeling secure overall. Their are Police/emergency buttons all around campus you can press if you ever feel in danger. A consistent wave of security guards driving around campus. If you ever felt alone and scared there is a number accessible to all students available through student government that will send a golf cart to pick you up and take you home. This service is provided any and every night. My only real complaint is to increase the amount hand sanitizers and to improve the frequency of cleaning of the gym.

Computers: Depends on the Floor – At UCF like any other college during the end of the semester when finals are approaching the library is so overrun with students that its almost impossible to get a table or computer. Although this problem I am sure occurs at various colleges so there is no need to go into detail on it. The problem i see is that depending on what floor your on in the library there is different types of computers you may access. On the main floor there are the most up to date computers accessible. If you go up a floor the computers available are extremely old and slow laptops for rent or on the floor there are about a dozen wired in old dell computers that available to be used. If UCF could upgrade both of these options in computer technology in the library would be a better experience.

Campus Housing: Living in the Towers – The Towers at UCF are without a doubt the best college housing available. Though they are more expensive than other on campus housing facilities, the extra price is well worth it. The atmosphere is fantastic on this side of campus, and you don't have to worry about a rush of freshmen getting in your way. I strongly recommend living in the Towers.

Weather: The weather is typical Florida Weather. It's very emotional, blistering hot one day and rainy the next.

3 College Junior

Majors: I am decently satisfied with my major, they are very helpful.

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: The campus is like its own little city, there are a variety of food choices scattered throughout the ginormous territory that we call a campus. However, there will be a small fee added for the convenience.

Majors: Shadowing Opportunities – I am a Pre Medical students so I dont seek out too many internships, but I am always in pursuing new shadow opportunities, and things of that nature. At the University of Central Florida I came to the conclusion that they are out there, but you just need to look for them.

5 College Senior

Academics: Excellent Courses and Job Opportunites – The courses are well taught and one can have many job opportunities and faculty will hep in finding the jobs and there are plenty of part time opportunities too on campus and students can be funded by getting a GRA/ GA positions easily.

4 College Senior

Campus Housing: Pretty Costly – its pretty costly to live on campus but it worth the cost , one will have all the required facilities and can have a cool life on campus

5 College Senior

Athletics: Top Notch Sports – sports at UCF are awesome, they have good training facilities and wonderful courts to play.

5 College Junior

Academics: This program is great, the workload is manageable and curriculum is very focused on your actual career goals.

5 College Junior

Academics: Too Much to Do – UCF offers anything you could imagine, the professor choices all depend on what program you are in, but they are great within my program, the registration process is simple and all online. The workload is quite manageable as long as you keep a schedule.

4 College Junior

Majors: Welll UCF works with a multitude of hospitals and getting an internship in one of those fields is simple. The college offers student teaching opportunities, but didn't work out in my benefit with a full time job. They pay well, but not compared to a full time job.

5 College Junior

Majors: I had no difficulties about getting into the program. I had to write a rather simple essay about what I wanted to do in my future and a few weeks later I was accepted.

5 College Junior

Majors: Love It – I would do it all over in a heart beat, I loved my program and the majority of my professors. I am currently seeking to be a Director for Patient Access int he hospital field and because of my knowledge I was just promoted to Manager.

5 College Junior

Majors: I love my program and couldn't be happier, I finished my BS HSA and am now heading to the Masters program. All of my questions are always answered promptly, I never have an issue with class selection or anything.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Various Options for All Price-Ranges – Everything from luxury Apts. to price-point abodes

4 College Junior

Campus Dining: Various Options at All Hours – UCF has 2 great dining halls in addition to several restaurants throughout campus. Each of the dining halls has several unique food stations, opening early and closing late (midnight!). The several food shops around campus can satisfy any of your cravings such as pizza, Greek and even sushi!

5 College Senior

Transportation: Buses Always Available – There are buses that go between all of the apartments off campus and around campus. Very easy to get around.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Relax Its Just College – Both girls and guys are very casually dressed. Very comfortable

College Senior

Campus Housing: Off Campus – I have never lived on campus or utilized their housing.

3 College Senior

Parking: Parking at UCF has gotten much better. There are more lots and less headaches.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
