Computers: Network Reliablility and Speed – Because of the usage of computer on campus and thousand of student that attend the speed of system is very good

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: It's Decent – Thre are Plenty of dining options around campus to choose from. All the restaurants are cheap to average price-wise, but the meal plan is way over priced. There is an unlimited option you can choose which allows you to eat at the market hall (basically UCF's cafeteria), but you will spend more money on this option than you would spend if you bought each meal individually. The food is relatively good, but it can get repeative.

Academics: Good Professors but Registration Stinks! UCF has a great set of professors, the curriculum is current and will definitely have a great impact on what we will need when we finish classes. But I couldn't give them an A because trying to register for classes stinks! First the lottery system and the way they schedule classes makes it hard to find a schedule that works out for making it easy to fit in other responsibilities like jobs, children etc... Then the classes that are offered have limited seats so they fill fast leaving some students out in the cold having to find other classes to take or delaying graduation due to having to schedule classes for other semesters that were full.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Modern and Technology Rich – UCF has great facilities for everything from libraries, to the athletic facilities. Things are modern and up to date, and there are lots of items that are full of technology.

3 College Junior

Academics: Good Classes , but Too Hard to Get Into – The classes are challenging and a lot of fun, but the number of classes offered, the timing of classes, making hard to get into the classes to start with.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Clean and Modern – The campus always appears to be pristine and the facilities seem to be modern and up to date.

4 College Junior

Computers: Computer Labs Are Updated and Everywhere – The computer labs are all over and have updated software. The school gives students money to print which is generous, but the labs are closed between semesters which was a problem for me!

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Safe and Healthy Campus – I believe that UCF is a very healthy campus. It is now smoke free, which is a decision that I completely agree with. They have a wonderful recreation and wellness center. They have a clinic with doctors and a dentist for students and a pharmacy right on campus. The restaurants are generally good choices, but there are a few unhealthy places like the candy store. I think the school is safe because their are security poles with buttons that will call a security guard to you in a few minutes. There is also an emergency button on the UCF app that has all the phone numbers you need in an emergency. They also have offices you can bring almost any problem to on campus, along with offices that provide counselor.

4 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Parking Tickets Are No Joke – The parking tickets are really expensive and they're really strict about it.

5 College Junior

Diversity: Everyone Is a Different Color! Everywhere you look here at UCF, everyone is different in every way.

4 College Junior

Overall Experience: It's so nice at UCF! It's clean and not too much of a party school, which I like. Almost everyone is nice and helpful.

3 College Senior

Campus Dining: No Complaints – Lot's of stuff right around the campus. If you have a car you can find something you will like.

2 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: So So – Orlando is ok at best. Its HOT all year round and the beach is 45 minutes away. Downtown is getting better but still needs some improvement.

4 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There are a lot of new apartment buildings going up in the area. Most are pretty affordable.

3 College Senior

Weather: Hot, Hot, Hot! We are located in Florida so naturally it is sunny and hot all year long. Walking around campus is sometimes brutal during the middle of the day, but all of the buildings are kept cool. It does rain and occasionally we will have severe weather during hurricane season that prevents us from going to class. UCF is good about canceling classes and shutting down campus if weather is too severe.

Guys & Girls: Looking for One Thing. 90% of guys hit on girls because they want to get with them. The other ten percent are nerdy or weird. The only good guys you will be able to find here will be at religious based get togethers. There are a couple christian clubs on campus. That's where the nice guys hang out. The rest seem pretty shallow and/or full of themselves. Some girls are nice, but most don't really say anything unless you speak to them first, in which case you usually get a short answer. In each class you can usually find one friend for the semester though.

3 College Senior

Computers: Good, but Sometimes Slow or Crowded. On a regular day, you can easily find a computer that works well, but I have had a couple of experiences where the computer was just SO SO slow! When this happens, usually you can just move to another computer that works better, unless there are no other free ones. This may be the case during finals week, or in the library on a normal day. The library computers are ALWAYS completely taken. If you want a computer on campus, go to one of the two computer labs, or All Knight Study (located by the Arena).

Off-Campus Dining: Anything you want, you've got it. Orlando is full of great places to eat and theres always something new. many large food chain restaurants are located very close to campus such as chipotle, ale house, red lobster, and panera bread. these are just a few of the many places to eat off campus and the prices range.

4 College Freshman

Athletics: I love UCF and am always spirited. We might not have the greatest of athletic teams but its enjoyable to attend and be apart of the UCF community.

Greek Life: The Greek Truth. Greek life is infamous for their parties and maybe even the "automatic group of friends." I personally don't find it all that exciting. I am a non-greek and everyone on campus gets along fine. They always have their stereotypes such as the tri-delts being referred to as the "slut house" when in reality it might not even be true. Greeks can live in their house or in a dorm. whatever they please.

3 College Senior

Greek Life: Greek Is Great, but You're Not Dead If You're Not Greek. Greek life here at UCF is great and thriving. They ALWAYS have something going on and they are always being active in the school community. But to be an active student at UCF, you don't necessarily have to be in greek to have a good time. We are really close to downtown orlando where anyone and everyone can party. So yes, the greek life is awesome, but no, you don't have to be greek to have a great party life.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Don't Have to Go Far – Right down University blvd there are plenty of options from late night fast food to traditional chain and local college joints. You will never get bored with the options.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: Lack of Tailgaiting Fun – For the most part things are lenient but rules are very strict for tailgating for football games because of a couple of issues in the past.

3 College Junior

Academics: Fun but Challenging – Being a biomedical science major at UCF is tough, there are a lot of people trying to do the same thing as you. For example, research at UCF is difficult to get into because there aren't enough research programs to support the number of students who need to do research. Other than that there are many other clubs and organizations one can join to get help with regards to job opportunities.

4 College Senior

Overall Experience: It Is Amazing. I'm so happy I chose a school with such a large population. Coming from a highschool where everyone knows everyone and everyone is in your business to a hugely populated school was the best move ever. People are so nice and friendly and the campus is BEAUTIFUL. The reflection pond is by far my study spot, you can bring a blanket and study by the pond and it is gorgeous out. I also like the starbucks on campus; everyone needs that caffeine come exame time! There are also lots of parties and lot of clubs nearby in downtown but there are also lots of study and tutoring centers as well. At UCF you are able to mold into the person you chose to be.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
