Majors: As a psychology student finding an internship is more difficult in the counselor phycology area than other fields. I have already contacted local rehabilitation centers and crisis centers in hopes that I will be able to sit in on sessions and or classes be given. My goal is to intern at various places before I begin my graduate program, which will allow me to choose one internship once I graduate. I plan to give my full attention to that one job, and take on all responsibilities thrown my way.

Majors: I am a pre-professional major and I have not had a current internship and I do not plan of having an internship due to my current career field. As a lead paramedic for a fire department and assistant instructor in several advanced life support classes, I feel like focusing my time I'm not working on my school work and extra curricular activities.

Majors: As a pre-medical major, I am very happy with my program. I would do it all over again because the university offers great classes and the pre-professionalism major is well outlined. I currently work as a paramedic and I am pursuing medical school to work as a pediatric oncologist. I have a passion for medicine that has been exponentially expanded by my current career and has given me specific goals and drive to reach my "dream job".

Majors: I am in pre-medical program and I love the classes they offer for us, especially compared to other universities. The electives are in depth, interesting, challenging, and the professors are wonderful and passionate in their subjects. It is a hard work load to deal with while managing a full time schedule but it is not impossible. It's made easier by how amazing and interactive professors are.

Majors: Getting into my pre-medical major was relatively easy. I transferred to UCF and contacted the biomedical sciences advisers and I was sent to take the orientation for pre-medical school. However, the advisers are not very helpful for students who work full time. They half-hazardly helped and then told me it would be difficult and to figure it out.

Guys & Girls: Fellow students at my school appear to be educated, nice, and health conscious. Students seem receptive to new friends and to strangers.

3 College Freshman

Guys & Girls: You.ll find all different sorts of guys and girls at UCF, especially since it is one of the fastest growing universities in the world. There are all different kinds of guys and girls here and most of them are pretty friendly people always looking for new people to talk to.

3 College Freshman

Campus Strictness: The police force is pretty strict when it comes to things such as underage drinking and drug use other than that the whole campus scene including policies and the police are pretty laid back.

3 College Freshman

Diversity: There is a large and increasing number of different races and religions here at UCF. All the people are easy to get a long with too and everyone is nice and pleasant to each other regardless of race.

3 College Freshman

Greek Life: Greek life at UCF is pretty fun. I only got a preview of what it was like however, i thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely considering joining in my sophmore year, its worth it.

4 College Freshman

4 College Junior

Facilities: Gorgeous campus. I've been to multiple events at the arena.

4 College Junior

Weather: Its in the rainy season, since we're in Florida. But it clears up by fall.

College Junior

Parking: I currently do not have a car so I am not familiar with the parking situation. However, I hear it can be very tedious.

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: UCF off-campus dining mostly consist of fast food restaurants;almost all the fast food restaurant you could think. There are a few well known restaurants such as Chili's and Applebee's. These restaurants may be unhealthy: however they provide affordability.

3 Recent Alumnus

Drug Safety: It depends who you hang out with mostly. The drug scene is moderate, mostly marijuana is present. Alcohol is more popular.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: UCF is very diverse, academically inclined, and fun!

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: There are many different apartment complexes to choose from. They are easy to find and are a decent price. Some are a bit expensive but you just have to find the ones that aren't. No one has to worry about not finding an apartment.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Everything is great at my school. The athletics are great and there is a lot of school pride. Its easy to get internships and co-ops because of all the business right around UCF that are always on campus so its not harder meeting recruiters.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
