Health & Safety: I haven't felt in danger since moving to campus in the fall. The crime on campus is basically nonexistent. The dorms are very secure. Emergency telephones are available nearby in any situation, and the campus provides safety escort services at night. The campus police are always accessible.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Students get together all the time to enjoy our athletics. We have some great sports, and the students are big supporters. We have a ton of school spirit, especially since our amazing football season this year. The athletics continue to grow and become an integral part of our campus.

Health & Safety: Since the almost shooting last semester, I feel as if UCF has stepped up and tried to make the campus safer and the students more aware of safety.

Computers: All of the computers in the Student Union lab, technology center, and library are in good condition. There just aren't near enough computers for all of the students that attend.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I live in the Village at Science Drive and I think it is the best student housing offered. Some places are more dangerous and not as safe which needs to be fixed.

5 College Junior

Weather: Florida has the best weather year round. It can get cold and rainy, but it only lasts a little while.

2 College Junior

Drug Safety: Game days in Memory Mall consists of a lot of underage drinking as well as just a lot of drinking in general.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
