2 College Freshman

Parking: parking is usually sucky but at specific times. get to school 30 mins before class at least to get a spot and be on time. know where the most convenient lots are.

5 College Junior

Weather: Sun Sun Sun! It's always a beautiful day in Orlando Fl

3 College Junior

Greek Life: I've never actually seen any fraternity organizations on campus except for the first week of classes when they are recruiting

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: At every school there is going to be drug use. I have not witnessed any drugs being used or alcohol being consumed, but then again I do not live on campus. I am only there to do my classes, but at least no one has stumbled into the classroom hammered or smelling of drugs.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I plan to intern in the psychology field and I feel like this won't be too hard to find. I will be able to ask professors for help to find one. It is unpaid and requires shadowing.

5 College Freshman

Majors: The process of getting into my Psychology major was easy. I enrolled in psychology classes and in order to declare it as a major you just press a few buttons online. Very easy!

4 College Freshman

Computers: The computer labs at UCF are good! My friend's computer break and they were able to go to the computer lab when they needed and do work. Printing on campus is awesome because they allow you 100 free prints a week. The wireless access is okay. I usually have problems getting wifi in my dorm, but around campus it is good. And its ofcourse nice to have your own computer and printer, but it's not necessary. There are many computers and printers on campus that a student can use.

4 College Freshman

Majors: My major is psychology and am very satisfied with it so far. My intro to psychology teacher was great! And she gave me many opportunities to do summer internships or internships during the year! She was always there for me with any questions I had an opportunities.

4 College Freshman

Majors: I just started my major in psychology and I love it! People always comment about being a psychology major because they feel it's not an important major, but I disagree. I feel that there are a lot of opportunities with this major and I am going to stick to it!

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: The dorms on campus are great! There are a bunch of different dorms to choose from and you are able to find which one is best for you! Being able to be friends with your neighbors is easy! Loved on campus housing!

4 College Student

Academics: Academics at UCF are pretty good and informative..

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: They are many great restaurants choices aroound UCF on College Blvd.

3 College Junior

Computers: I rarely use the computer labs since I do have my own.

3 College Freshman

Transportation: The shuttles come every 15 minutes. That's probably one of the most convenient things if you live at dorms off campus and such.
Another convenience is if you have your own car. There are multiple garages to park in. You just need to make sure that you have your parking permit and money for gas.

3 College Freshman

Nightlife: If you're over 21, you might have more fun than those who are under. They do have an alternative thing for those who are not allowed to drink alcohol and such. It's called Late nights and they do that once a month (on fridays), every month. They give out free food at midnight and free prizes. It's cool but it's only once a month.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: UCFs campus is very safe, i never have any issues of feeling in danger while on campus, and with our "safety poles" all around campus there is always a way to get a hold of the on campus police department.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: The diversity on campus is extreme with many races, ethnicities, religions, political affiliations, and economic standings and everyone is so accepting!

5 College Freshman

Campus Dining: There are many different places to chose from and two different dining halls.

4 College Freshman

Computers: They are pretty good but depending on where you use it it can be slow.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: The financial aid office and very easy to get in touch with and they disperse loans very quickly

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The nicer the weather the better grades you will get.

5 College Freshman

Diversity: You have nothing to worry about, there is a vast array of different groups of people at the University of Central Florida and everyone is very accepting. I have had no issues with discrimination or racism, and I have not heard of any. It is very easy to find a group of people who are similar to you who will accept you.

5 College Freshman

Greek Life: The Greek life at the University of Central Florida is splendid. Everyone who is not involved in Greek life on campus regrets not doing so and is very jealous of those who are involved in Greek life. The sororities and fraternities on campus throw the best parties, stick to their philanthropies, and retain the highest GPA's. They truly have it all.

4 College Freshman

Weather: The weather is beautiful year round at the University of Central Florida. The fall weather is beautiful and warm but not too hot. The winters are cold and cozy, but not unbearable. There is however lots of rain during the summer semester and the end of the spring semester. This is a bit of a nuisance when you're trying to go from class to class, for you must always remember your umbrella or you'll be stuck waiting for the rain to pass under a building.

3 College Freshman

Scholarships: They don't explain much at orientation, so be prepared to do your own research on financial aid. Make sure to talk to a financial aid counselor, because you can solve many problems before they even arise simply by letting them check your aid situation.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
