4 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Dining: Just like around most other campuses, there is your string of Fast Food chains just off campus. There is a decent amount of variety on campus, and some large shopping complexes with a good mix of sit down restaurants.

4 Recent Alumnus

Facilities: I love being known as a Knight. Wish I could spend more time on campus exploring.

Recent Alumnus

Facilities: I haven't spent any real amount of time on campus in the past 2 years, so couldn't tell you.

3 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: All I have really noticed them being really strict about is the parking and keeping alcohol out of sporting events.

4 Recent Alumnus

Scholarships: As long as you fill out your FAFSA form for the year, on time, you won't have any major issues. There are some nice grants that are provided by the school for full-time students and seniors.

5 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Fiesta Bowl champs. Previous Liberty Bowl & C-USA league champions. Top 10 finisher. Need I say more!?

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: Being Orlando, there is quite a diverse group of students on campus. UCF has many exchange student programs, and Disney draws in a lot of internationals as well for their college program. Walking on campus isn't much different than visiting "It's A Small World".

Recent Alumnus

Campus Housing: Have never looked into or stayed in campus housing.

4 Recent Alumnus

Overall Experience: I love UCF. Wish I could spend more time at main campus, it feels like it's own city. There is always a lot going on.

2 Recent Alumnus

Campus Dining: The Rosen campus cafe has been going through a mid-life crisis the past few years. It can't seem to decide if it wants to stay open or closed for the semester, or be anything more than a coffee shop.

4 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: The Rosen Hospitality campus is generally very quiet. I've never seen security have to do anything more than police the parking lot. Everyone on campus tends to be more mature and professional by nature.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't started my classes at this campus as yet.

College Junior

Majors: I haven't had an intern because I couldn't find one in my major. i'm hoping UCF will be able to help me find something soon!

4 College Junior

Diversity: There are a variety of people here. I'm pretty sure anyone can find somewhere to fit in! They are very friendly too.

4 College Junior

Facilities: Our campus is huge! It's a great environment and you always have something to do. You'll never be bored. We have many outdoor activities to do and I think they have a great wellness program to keep students in shape. They have a superstition that if you walk on the emblem you don't graduate so they have put robes around it so students don't walk around it.

4 College Junior

Facilities: There is the tailgating tradition which is done around their big fountain before the big football game. The fountain is about knee deep and everyone just has a great time. They have several sororities if your interested in joining something on campus.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: The students seem very approachable and welcoming to the campus. They are willing to help and they give you a positive vibe when you arrive on campus.

5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: They have many attractions nearby in the Orlando area. You have so many theme parks to go to like universal, disney, and sea world. There are also many places to go shopping nearby. They have a lake nearby where you can go kayaking at. They have so many amenities including a swimming pool, a lap pool, a gym , rock climbing and many others too. The setting is very relaxing and i'd recommend anyone to live on campus as long as they can afford it.

College Junior

Academics: I have not officially started UCF as yet. I have transferred from Valencia college and I will begin UCF in the fall. I do expect the work load to be much more than what I am used to at Valencia.

4 College Junior

Academics: I think they have great programs for anyone. I know they have a really good psychology program for anyone that is interested. The business program seems to be getting better from what I heard at orientation. They seem to be focusing more on the students and their abilities to learn. They offer classes that are streamed live online so you won't have to miss class if your running late.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Not a fan of the bus systems, but they work. Outside of that I love the Orlando area.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I've applied for a number and I was top 5% of my class with loads of extra curricular activities, community service, leadership positions, and involved in sports.

3 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Attractive people but I never really look into it. Fashion isn't a huge deal, and there are just as many athletes as there are 'geeks', and just with every other category you can find. I find that many are extremely nice and/or friendly but not in a creepy way.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: I love how much SGA gets involved with the sports and even provides free goodies to the students to help liven up our team spirit.

4 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Stores, the movies, groceries, fast food, convenient stores, everything is within walking distance (or a few minute car ride).

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
