College Junior

Majors: I don't plan on having an internship unless it's close to home.

4 College Junior

Transportation: From what I see, theres multiple buses that pick up students at one location, I don't know if theres anymore locations but a lot of people use the transportation so the fee shouldn't be too high.

4 College Junior

Drug Safety: I've never seen any drugs, alcohol or peer pressure around the school, so they're pretty good at hiding it if it does happen.

3 College Junior

Diversity: I think that UCF is a very diverse school everyone gets a long and there is no conflict between the students.

Campus Dining: There is a variety of selection to choose from. I am very excited about the new star bucks store that is coming this Spring semester. I love that there

2 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There are tons of dining spots off campus. Most are chain and fast food restaurants, but go a little further and there are a few mom and pop places.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: I go to school at night, so my experience may be different. I think parking costs too much for a little sticker to put on your car. I can always find the spot I am looking for in the garage right by my class building.

2 College Sophomore

Academics: Athletics at this school are not exactly on par with the rest of the better state teams, but they have been consistently getting better and growing a following. I would say they are up and coming in football.

2 College Sophomore

Academics: There is a wide variety of academic choices. The professors hold very high expectations of their students. The univeristy follows a strict honor code. The professors are knowledgable and helpful.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The financial aid office is very busy. The communication between the finaid staff and the students needs improvement.

2 College Sophomore

Diversity: Lots of diversity on campus. Most students are from around the city.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: This school has a huge array of major and the professors are fantastic!

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I love my program. I am back again pursuing another degree at this university!

2 College Sophomore

Facilities: This campus has a nice central area where students can sit out, relax, and study in front of a big fountain.

2 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: The school is in the middle of a city. There is a lot to do but it isn't cheap.

2 College Sophomore

Nightlife: I do not know about on campus nightlife. There are lots of options off campus and very close to campus to enjoy.

College Sophomore

Weather: If it rains, bring an umbrella. You still have to walk to your classes.

1 College Sophomore

Transportation: I don't know much about the on campus transportation because I do not use it. I know there is a shuttle that goes around to the parking garages and around campus.

College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I do not live on campus.

2 College Sophomore

Athletics: This school has a decent sports program. They are up and coming.

3 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: My school is a great school. It has everything a student needs. There is the option to stay on campus. There are apartments very close by for those who want to live off campus. The campus is small, so students won't be too overwhelmed. Football life is popular with this school. The professors are very well edcuated and very invested in their students.

Off-Campus Dining: There are so many options near campus. The only thing I'd say we're lacking in is really nice restaurants. I'd imagine that would be because college students don't typically have the cash to eat an expensive meal.

Scholarships: I received student loans from the university. I just tuned in my FAFSA and accepted the aid. I never had to make any appointments or had any hassles.

Transportation: The school shuttles are not the best. Sometimes the drivers decide to make their route and make kids late to class.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
