Off-Campus Housing: Off - campus housing is just minutes and I mean minutes from the school. Its perfect especially with the free shuttles that take you from where you live directly to the school.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: Although it's a bit of a drive, the rate is much better and I feel like you get more than what on campus housing provides.

Health & Safety: The campus is very large and there are some areas that are not lit or not near emergency phones. However throughout all my years on campus I never was scared to walk alone at night. There have been incidents of people being assaulted on campus or in the parking garages, but the campus police are usually on top of it. They have even built a police station on campus and have cops who are designated to patrol just the campus and surrounding areas.

3 Recent Alumnus

Off-Campus Housing: There are many off campus communities around the university. The newer/nicer ones can be pretty expensive, but there are a lot of moderate ones that are affordable. The parking however can be difficult when it comes to having visitors, since visitor spots are hard to come by and they will tow if you don't park in one as a visitor.

College Junior

Campus Strictness: they have rules to follow

4 College Junior

Facilities: everyone around me seemed okay.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: there were many interesting restaurants located around the school.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: I always get verification from both schools i attend. But this time they stated i was not eligible. but it took about a month for them to tell me anything which was after the deadline.

College Junior

Diversity: haven't been there long enough to see.

College Junior

Overall Experience: haven't been had real experience with them yet. went to orientation and that was about it.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: I have only visited the area to find an apartment to live at.

Health & Safety: The college really promotes safety for students. All students are made very aware of support centers for sexual assault, etc.

Academics: From the start the college prepares you to make connections in order to prepare for your future occupation. They have many opportunities to make connections through luncheons, internships, etc.

Academics: Agian, the Burnett Honors College is really just the best program the campus has to offer. There are also many engineering, leadership, volunteer, and other programs that help students both academically and socially.

Campus Housing: None of the dorms have community bathrooms, which is great. Some of the dorms have a very awkward set up and don't deem worth the price, however most are very nice and apartment like.

Off-Campus Dining: There are a few really unique options near campus. Lots of different choices downtown Orlando (15 minutes away). Also, there are many of the typical food chain restaurants nearby.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
