5 College Senior

Facilities: My grad program offers a lot of program-specific perks in addition to everything the main campus offers. It's definitely nice to have more options.

2 College Senior

Campus Dining: The campus cafateria is nothing special and a bit over priced for what they offer. On the other hand there are other places to eat located around campus from Japanese steak house to a subway. overall you can easily find any type of meal that you are in the mood for.

5 College Senior

Facilities: As a biomedical student UCF's program in this field is what attracted my to this school. UCF is renowned for its teachers in the science field and always produces graduates that are more than capable to preform any task related to their major.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: The campus is very stict about academic and social policies that they have in place. Safety of the students and scademic success are UCF's top priorities.

3 College Senior

Parking: If you arrive on campus before 10am then parking isn't any concern, however if you arrive between the hours of 10-2 then you can expect to spend 30 minutes or more looking for a place to park.

Greek Life: As a non-Greek student I disagree with the Greek life on UCF. Most of the organizations require you to make the greek organization your first priority and school second. Most of the social organization make party attendance a requirement reguardless if you have school work or an exam to focus on. For this reason I don't understand why anybody would want to join the greek life but for those who do join they seem to enjoy it but they're also the ones that struggle in their classes.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Housing: There are new apartments that have just been built close enough to school that you can walk, although the prices are still tough.

3 College Senior

Scholarships: UCF has a habit of allotting financial aid to its students and then "resetting" the system the day before the tuition payments are due so that you have to reclaim the financial aid. This causes many students to not reclaim the aid in time and get stuck with paying for school out of pocket. My advice is check your account every day to make sure nothing has changed.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: The Student Union and other publicly accessible facilities on campus are of great quality.

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: UCF has students of every ethnicity and nationality!

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: The Greek life at UCF is not that big of an aspect of overall UCF college life. If you're not a part of it, you rarely ever see any functions they put on or really hear about their lives. You can still have a great time at UCF even if you're not in Greek life

5 College Senior

Nightlife: Nightlife is great for poor college kids both underage and over 21. Cover is cheap and drinks are free most nights.

4 College Senior

Greek Life: Greek life is small at UCF but they are very involved on campus an throughout the community. The surrounding bars are mostly run by Greeks.

5 College Senior

Athletics: UCF athletes have many die-hard supporters regardless of performance on the field.

5 College Junior

Facilities: The student union is the best place for anything on campus. From student activities, to a study place, food, and even volunteering and studen body government. I spent alot of time there since I was a LEAD scholar and our office was in the student union.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: I can't speak much about off campus housing since I spent my first two years in the dorms, but I'll be going off campus this year and I can say that the process was pretty easy. Most of the housing off campus is across the street from the school in walking distance (or the bus line can be used) and the prices are definitely affordable.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: There is a huge variety of students at UCF. Something we are known for. WE are the most diverse college and offer alot of really good incite on perspectives, equality and respect

3 College Junior

Academics: The academics offered at UCF could be given around a B. The new study areas around campus have really helped with my studies and the new AllKnightStudy definitely saved me during Final Exam period. I could say some professors should definitely not be employed at UCF, but in the school's defense) they can't monitor every single teacher I guess.

3 College Junior

Academics: I am a Biomedical Sciences major but from the past two years, every student can attest that the Math Department has hindered the success of many students enrolled in math classes. Aside from that aspect, this major is challenging, but thats expected.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I'm currently considering a major change but i like my major as a way to get into a medical program.

3 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: I'm not sure if my personal experiences of UCF are representative of the overall drug scene, but at UCF i was exposed to weed, various smart drugs, psychedelics, and alcohol. It also looks like a ton of kids are on steroids

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Davie is one of the suburbs of Fort Lauderdale. Its basically the typical suburb town where there's not much to do so kids smoke and do drugs as a source of entertainment.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: I'm honestly not sure how the sports program is at UCF. I know the wrestling team is good and I assume that all of the other sports are decent at the very least just because of how big of school UCF is. 60000 BITCHES

3 College Senior

Majors: Overall I am very pleased with the major I am currently pursuing, but would like to have at least two different instructors to choose from for each required class.

College Senior

Greek Life: I have not joined Greek life at this university, so I do not think I can fairly rate it.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
