4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: The campus is so large I feel that a lot of the time I am out of sight of anyone who could help in a dangerous situation.

3 College Senior

Off-Campus Dining: There is quiet a bit of major chain restaurants near by

3 College Senior

Greek Life: The Greek houses seek to be in good condition from the outside. The houses are expensive to live in.

3 College Senior

Health & Safety: Peoples cars seem to be broken into allot but i feel safe.

3 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: its good if you have a car, know where to go, and have friends. But if you are in my position. You cant really do anything because the lack of a car and friends to do things with.

3 College Senior

Campus Strictness: The school is strict about cheating and crimes. They seem to be fair.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: It is Orlando. There are so many things to do if you have money but there are a lot of cheap or less expansive activities people can do off campus.

3 College Senior

Guys & Girls: Students seem like they don't want to make new friends. From experience no one is willing to talk to you and be your friend unless you go up to them. Which can be bad for someone like me who is not outgoing and struggles to make friends. Students seem to dress ok some do overdress.

4 College Junior

Guys & Girls: So far what I have seen, most are good looking. I do not know about their brains but body wise NICE!!!!

College Junior

Greek Life: I personally do not like the Greek life

3 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: No matter where you go, they are all similar places to eat.

3 College Senior

Facilities: The library, gym, and student union are nice. ITs hard to make friends at campus events because people dont try to make new friends.

4 College Senior

Athletics: There is not a large crowd for most of the sports events. Most students don't go to the sports events. But will school school spirit around campus. The most team performances are average. The football team did good.

2 College Senior

Nightlife: Personally parties are hard to find if no one tells you about them. If no one tells you will not know about it because its not advertise or open to ever one.

3 College Senior

Campus Housing: The dorm I stayed in was ok. But it seemed like the people did not socialize with others in the same complex.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: After completing an intro course on Psy the major, there are so many opportunities that await at UCF. there are many internships available, some volunteer some paid. I am already a member of several Psy clubs at UCF.

4 Recent Alumnus

Academics: The availability of the Professors is very helpful. They answer questions right away. the work load is a little heavy at times, but i know in the end it will be worth it.,

4 Recent Alumnus

Athletics: Every UCF game is publicized on TV. The news cast and people of FL are extremely excited about every game. It is usually a family affair.

Recent Alumnus

Nightlife: I do not engage in that type of social activity. My extra curricular activities, consist of family time and out to eat with friends. I do not drink or smoke or attend clubs of any kind.

4 Recent Alumnus

Health & Safety: There are security visible at all times. The Lynx bus service has a special service to escort students to and from Waterford Lakes in the evening. There is also a class/video you have to complete your first year at UCF, which is extremely detailed and very informative regarding sexual assault and drugs on campus.

4 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: Again, UCF is very accepting to all types of religious practices. Whether you are Catholic or Muslim, each individual religious beliefs is just that; their own personal beliefs. Religion is individual and personal.

4 Recent Alumnus

Guys & Girls: At the UCF campus, you are free to be who you want to be and to look the way you want to look. i have not run into any judgmental people on campus. the people are always willing to help and are very nice and courteous.

4 Recent Alumnus

Campus Strictness: Whenever you are walking around campus, the security are mostly driving around in their carts. they are always visible which results in a secure feeling when walking around the campus at UCF.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: it is not terribly strict, just don't be obviously breaking rules

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
