Facilities: University of Central Florida's campus life is very active and inviting. There are over 500 organizations to become involved with, and several different events are held in order for the benefit and enjoyment of the students. The student union provides a spot for relaxing, hanging out with friends, or eating from popular fast food places. There are many opportunities for meeting new people!

1 Recent Alumnus

Parking: Parking takes oven an hour. Also you pay for parking but never can find a spot.

Greek Life: I dont know anything about the Greek life activities.

4 College Freshman

Parking: Parking is easy once you figure out how to do it. Certain parking garages are much busier than others, but you can always find a spot to park anywhere around campus. However, having a car is not necessary because there are multiple shuttles and bus systems around campus, and having a bike will give you almost as much freedom as a car.

Majors: I love the program I am planning on declaring. I know I will have many opportunities in my field once I graduate.

3 College Freshman

Majors: Internships are a good way to transition into your desired field.

College Freshman

Majors: Still taking Gen Ed courses, so I have not yet applied for my intended major of Public Administration

College Freshman

Campus Dining: I haven't eaten or bought a meal plan for UCF so I'm not sure but I heard it was good food.

4 College Freshman

Academics: The athletic training here at UCF is on a limited base and therefore you have to take all of the classes they want you take on their list before you can apply to get into the program in the spring of your sophomore year.

4 College Freshman

Diversity: Ucf is very diverse, this school has 60,000 students ...of course it would be !

4 College Freshman

Campus Housing: I'm a freshman and i started in the summer B of 2013 and I lived in the Hercules dorm, which were great, and now I live in the Nike dorms, which are also great. I love the on-campus living here at UCF because it eliminates the commute and toll roads. Also almost everything you would need is on campus or near.

4 College Freshman

Off-Campus Housing: Orlando has a lot of different types of housing available around the UCF area mainly for the students at the school who choose not to stay on campus. The housing I have seen or heard about, seem to be very affordable for college students and nice on the inside and out.

4 College Senior

Local Atmosphere: The city my school is in is WinterPark. WinterPark is a small city, we don't have a lot of attraction around here. We have a lot of dinning places and gym in the school.

3 College Sophomore

Parking: Parking is typically bad from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Besides that it will not be too difficult to find parking. I have seen worse parking so I cannot complain. There's usually always parking available just depends if you m don't mind walking some.

3 College Sophomore

Athletics: Varsity sports is growing at University of Central Florida. The football team is good but it's not a part of Divison I football. The basketball team is also prety good. This campus celebrates its school sports but its not a big deal. We don't have expectations like other top schools.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: The computer labs at the University of Central Florida are well above average. They have huge screens and modern computers. They have macs all over the place as well. The WiFi is solid in case you have your own laptop. It's safe to say you will have access to computers on campus.

5 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Most guys are in pretty good shape except if they are engineers. The guys are very friendly, not stuck up, and willing to socialize. The girls are mostly blonde and 80% of them are extremely attractive. Especially the ones at the gym. Only about 20% of them are stuck up, but for the most part they are very friendly as well. They dress nice and are also willing to socialize.

4 College Junior

Health & Safety: Overall, UCF is safe. I haven't witnessed any acts of violence since I've been here. The police and security guards always seem to be doing their job. And students seem to take care of themselves.

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: UCF is in Orlando, after all. Therefore, there's plenty of things to do off-campus. Orlando has plenty of job opportunities such as working in theme parks, restaurants, shopping centers, and others. Everyone seems to get along at UCF. And the school plans plenty of events and features clubs of all aspects of life.

2 College Junior

Greek Life: I feel that Greek life is just an excuse for kids to throw parties and for girls to be sluts.

4 College Sophomore

Drug Safety: On a college campus someone might expect drugs to be a problem. Other than the "legalize it" club, UCF is very clean. There is even a no smoking rule on campus. I rate the school an A- due to student drinking.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: Every type of person is at the University of Central Florida. With over 60,000 enrolled students, it is not difficult to find friends.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Before I started at UCF the only reason I would ever go to Orlando was the music. Seeing the university for the first time opened my eyes to much more. There are nature trails and even an on-campus pond with free rental canoes! At night there is plenty to do, whether its getting down at a local club or looking east as a rocket launches from Cape Canaveral.

1 College Sophomore

Weather: I go to the regional campus in Daytona Beach, but i am in Florida none the less. Frankly, i love the cold but the summers are unbearable. They are scorching and humid. Getting in your car and starting the A/C does not seem to help at all sometimes. Not to mention it seems we only get two seasons a year now...the winter which seems to last a couple months IF THAT and summer.....which is the remaining of the year. Its horrible.

5 College Junior

Transportation: Transportation at the University of Central Florida is very organized and convenient. It picks up and drops off every fifteen minutes.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
