Campus Housing: I wouldn't know. I've never lived on campus. I find living off campus to be the better deal where you get the most out of your money.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love studying Aerospace Engineering here at UCF. I've joined an engineering club here on campus, AIAA, that has lead to lots of unique experiences and has lead me to meet some great friends and people. I've also landed a job working with the College Work Experience Program (CWEP) at Lockheed Martin, which is definitely one of the highlights of my time here because I love my job there and I don't think I could've gotten an opportunity like that anywhere else.

4 College Junior

Majors: I love going to school here. If I could do it all over again I would. After I graduate, I hope to start a career with an engineering firm. My sights are set on working for a military contractor like Lockheed Martin, and although competition will be fierce where you go I'm keeping my hopes high.

Off-Campus Dining: Since I live off campus, I eat off campus all the time. I love the food around here and you can always find something cheap to eat that good and doesn't taste "fake" (as I call it) like fast food places. SusHi, Greens and Grille, Bubbalous, First Watch, and PeiWei are all good places to eat around here.

Scholarships: I haven't had much problem with applying and getting scholarships. However, finding scholarships that support over the summer is next to impossible.

4 College Junior

Athletics: Honestly, I've hardly paid much attention to the athletics here. I'm normally to busy with work or studying for classes to pay much attention to them.

3 College Junior

Computers: For the past few years I've had difficulty logging into the WiFi on campus, but the internet connection is not bad even when using the guest network. The computers available in labs range in dependability. It may take you a while to log into the computer, but the computers are pretty reliable once you're in.

4 College Junior

Academics: I'm studying Aerospace Engineering and like with all schools, you have professors that are great and ones that are not so great. Overall, I've been very happy with the courses I've taken and I've learned a lot from them. Some classes, like Measurements, I feel request too much out of students with respect to work load.

2 College Junior

Drug Safety: I believe there needs to be more awareness.

3 College Junior

Health & Safety: There needs to be crossways between alafaya and UCF.

3 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Too many people at times.

5 College Junior

Scholarships: I always get the financial aid needed.

3 College Junior

Campus Strictness: UCF is not very strict when it comes to certain things.

5 College Junior

Majors: The Orlando area has so many opportunities with each major.

4 College Junior

Majors: You have to apply to what track you want.

4 College Junior

Diversity: UCF is a diverse and open campus.

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: The cost is low, but sometimes the quality isn't the best.

5 College Junior

Athletics: The UCF gym is amazing!

4 College Junior

Computers: The computers at UCF can at times be hit or miss.

4 College Junior

Greek Life: The Greek life at UCF is growing!

2 College Junior

Overall Experience: I wouldn't choose this school if i had to do it all over again. I am an out of state student and so far i've had the worst time of my life. The financial aid office is a nightmare. When you see knightmare puns all over campus they arent kidding. I had the absolute worst time finding friends, i knew no one and even my roommates who grew up in florida had very little friends. My RA was negligent of the floors needs, our building didnt have a common room so no one in the building spoke or anything. People usually keep to themselves. The education is average nothing great or challenging since all they do is accept thousands of people for money. Don't go here if you dont want to get treated as just another number.

3 College Junior

Computers: Have fun trying to find a computer on campus

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: There is a lot to choose from

4 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: Its orlando so theres always something to do.

2 College Junior

Nightlife: Its hard to find parties. People usually drink in their dorm, going out to clubs can be expensive if youre not 21

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
