College Sophomore

Majors: I have not had an internship but I play on having one in my junior or senior year.

3 College Sophomore

Majors: I do enjoy it but I am only a freshman so far. I know that the science and math courses here are particularly hard so I am not looking forward to the more difficult classes.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: There are hundreds of computer and we have free printing (200 pages per week is the limit). The wi-fi is available all over campus and is free and fast.

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Call the office instead of actually going inside because the line is always crazy. Even so, if you call you will be on hold for a while but it'd still take less time then actually going to the office.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: While the weather usually is pretty nice, it can rain in the afternoon occasionally which can get annoying.

5 College Sophomore

Athletics: UCF has a ton of school spirit. We pack the stadium for football games and recently just became ranked number 20 in the nation.

5 College Sophomore

Nightlife: There is always something going on at UCF. The parties usually are fun but people stay safe.

4 College Sophomore

Academics: They have pretty good professors and registration is not difficult. There is an honors college.

3 College Sophomore

Academics: Pre-Med majors are always hard because of how much time they require. The courseload and workload is intense, hundreds of medical volunteering, regular volunteering, and shadowing hours are needed, internships, high MCAT scores, research experience, etc.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love my dorm. It is a single bedroom and I only have to share a bathroom with only one person. It is also extremely close to my mealplan place, which has pretty good food. I like it here.

2 College Sophomore

Parking: On campus parking is pretty expensive, but its great if you live on campus cause there are lots just for each housing community. but on campus parking for commuters although more reasonable in price much harder to find a spot especially close to the center of campus because most lots and garages are on the outer rim of campus.

4 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: I stayed in one of the apartment style dorms on campus. i had my own room and there was a communal bathroom, kitchen and living room. it was very nice but did not leave a lot of room for social interaction besides with the roommates who were sometimes friendly and sometimes not. but the RA would try to have social events once a month but the same 5-10 people always came so there wasnt much of meeting everyone on the floor.

4 College Sophomore

Facilities: UCF is always building and rebuilding. there is always some kind of equipment somewhere and somewhere blocked of so workers can do construction but besides that everything is very up to date. there are only a few building left that have been here since the founding but they two have been updated from the inside.

5 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: UCF is very safe and if you dont feel safe there are many resources including the police that are just a phone call away and will take you anywhere on campus you need to go.

4 College Sophomore

Computers: i have my own laptop so i dont use the computer labs much but the printing system give you 50 sides of paper a day at certain printing labs and a small fee at otheres, but i have never needed to pay because the allotted amount is more than enough. there is a tech center on campus for any tech support needs and there is wifi pretty much all over campus even for guests.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There is a lot to do just in the 5 mile radius of the school and drive 20 minutes you are in downtown Orlando which has so much to do, not to mention 20 more minutes gets you to Universal, Sea World, and Disney World.

2 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: The food is pretty plain, pretty much cafeteria food, some times there is a interesting choice at one of the stations but mostly just pizza and burgers, it works if you eat a lot and dont care much about what you are eating but for someone who wants to keep a diet or will only eat there once or twice a day it isnt worth it.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: The campus is pretty well rounded

4 College Freshman

Computers: The wifi is relatively stinky at times, I never had a problem with my wifi until the fall semester started it goes in and out constantly.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: UCF pretty much lets the students do what they want. they have very lenient policies on visiting, and they have pretty average policies on on-campus drinking. The parking services can be very strict and so can the police on jaywalking but that is just around the edge of campus where there are roads.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: It's a pretty safe campus for the most part

3 College Freshman

Athletics: The varsity sports definitely have ALL of the attention, club sports ... Not so much :/

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: there is every major food chain within a 5 mile radius of UCF. along with some fun and delicious local places.

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: UCF supports all their sports especially the up and coming football team. students can always get in for free as long as there is seats.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: it is almost always 80's and sunny but when its not make sure you have an umbrella cause it will rain all day.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
