Nightlife: Nightlife or KNIGHTlife. The nightlife is great. I love going out. There's knight library, knights pub, station and mad hatter. It's always fun to go out! Transportation is usually provided by taxis if you don't have a designated driver.

Off-Campus Dining: There's many places to eat off campus. Some are way more expensive than others though, but the prices are decent! They are convienent. I don't think many of the, do student discounts though. My favorite places off campus are Flippers and Lazy Moon!!

Greek Life: I am so blessed to be Greek! I rushed the fall semester of my freshman year and became I delta zeta! I looked up to the Greeks when I wasn't Greek, and I just wanted to be one so bad! They have good GPAs and do a lot for the community. The Greek life at school is awesome.

4 College Freshman

Health & Safety: I feel safe on campus. If there is something that could harm any of the students we get warnings sent to our phones and emails. There really isn't much crime that goes on. I do feel safe!

3 College Freshman

Campus Housing: Living in a dorm is alright. Sometimes I wish I had my own bedroom and own bathroom but I was blessed with awesome roommates. It's nice to wake up right before class and just roll out of bed to go to class, it's really convienent. But I do miss having a kitchen to eat normal food sometimes!

5 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I honestly feel like I go to the best school in the nation. I love UCF and I love being a Knight! Rushing in the fall of my freshman semester and becoming a Delta Zeta was amazing! Also following our football team to being Fiesta Bowl champs was incredible!!!! I have loved my UCF experience so far, and definitely wouldn't change it,

Weather: Well, Florida weather is Florida weather. It's unpredictable, it could be sunny one minute and the next minute it could be raining. I just have to take my umbrella to class all the time! It's nothing to big that would affect me majorly.

5 College Freshman

Academics: I'm still taking gen eds, and I have to apply to get into my major, but I've been told it's tough, but great!

5 College Freshman

Academics: I feel like the academics is perfect. The professors are mostly great, and are willing to help you. There are many resources at UCF if you need help with school work. Also, the work load is pretty average!

Local Atmosphere: I love Orlando!!! Disney and Universal isn't far from campus. I love the students at my campus too, everyone is so nice.

Campus Strictness: I find our campus to be great. There's set rules that everyone follows, most of the professors have rules that are easy to follow. I love that it's smoke free too!

4 College Sophomore

Campus Dining: There's a great deal of variety for different tastes and dietary restrictions. There are two different buffet places that are open to all students and also the places to eat if you have a meal plan, and there are a lot of different options here. The downside may be that there are few, if any options for late night dining on campus.

4 College Sophomore

Weather: The weather doesn't really affect my campus experience much. Sometimes it's very hot, which can be annoying when walking to class, but since my classes are generally close to my dorm it doesn't affect me too much.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: I personally feel extremely safe in my dorm and feel that no one could break into it. I feel very safe walking around campus - especially if I'm with a friend and not in a parking garage or on the edge of campus. There are emergency buttons with lights that, when pressed, alert the police, which will be at that location within 90 seconds.

5 College Sophomore

Diversity: There is a great deal of diversity on campus, and multiple organizations and services for students of different ethnic groups, sexual orientations, etc.

4 College Sophomore

Guys & Girls: There's a lot of diversity and variety - it's difficult to categorize or describe a "typical" student.

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: There's a good deal of variety for any taste and budget, conveniently close by campus. The only downside probably being that there aren't many local options close by, and higher-than-fast-food-quality food requires larger budgets.

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: There's plenty to do on and off campus - especially with dining and shopping. It's a good deal of variety, so you don't need to do the same things over and over again.

5 College Sophomore

Computers: For me personally, being part of the Honors College, printing is very convenient - unlimited free printing right in the Honors College. The Honors College has a computer lab which has a good deal of well-functioning computers, but I imagine during finals week and around midterms it fills up fast (I have my own laptop and only use the lab for printing purposes).

4 College Sophomore

Scholarships: With the financial aid I've been awarded (not including loans), it is very convenient. There's nothing I have to do, and all of my tuition and fees are automatically differed to my financial aid. The only source of small "hassle" may arise with have to accept, decline, or lower the amount of loans offered (if needed), and finding and applying to more scholarships when those I've already had are nonrenewable and run out.

4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: I love the campus and all of the opportunities to get involved, have fun, and be recognized on campus. I was also drawn to the Honors College and the benefits and opportunities included in being a part of it.

3 College Sophomore

Campus Housing: The convenience of campus housing is great, and there are many different styles to choose from depending on your personal preferences and/or needs. However some people, depending on their financial aid or other factors, are easily willing to give up the convenience of campus housing for the cheaper off-campus options.

3 College Sophomore

Greek Life: There are some fraternities and sororities with bad reputations that are placed on probation or suspension. Most non-Greeks feel that Greek life adds no value to the college experience of people in it and is a waste of money - money spent on "buying" friends.

4 College Freshman

Facilities: Always building new buildings, always making improvements, UCF is great about facilities.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: Great access to amenities and alternative activity facilities all around campus.

UCF is growing by leaps and bounds. The students love to hang out, and they all know how to have a good time. There’s so much to do and there’s something for everyone. Do you really need any more reasons to go to college in Florida?

Orlando is an exciting city with tons of attractions and activities available to all. In many ways, going to school at UCF resembles a four-year vacation (Disney on Sunday, classes on Monday!). Downtown Orlando on a Friday night can, at times, seem like Mardi Gras, and City Walk on a Saturday night isn’t to be missed. Also, Floridians are welcoming and friendly and most students at UCF make friends quickly and easily. Friendly faces and sunny skies, what more could a college student ask for? The stellar academics, up-and-coming sports teams, and state-of-the-art facilities are reason enough to spend the next four years of your life at UCF; the city of Orlando is just one big fringe benefit. Come join us!
