Generally Good, Printing Can Add up – There are quite a few networked printers throughout the buildings, but the cost of printing is a bit expensive ($0.10 per page). If you go through the business center for larger jobs, it's less expensive, but it's only open during regular business hours (8-5 Monday through Friday). Most people bring their own computers, but there are lots of machines in the computer lab, and I have never gone to the lab and not gotten a machine. The lab is only open during library hours, though.
Good Neighborhood Options, Virtually Nothing on Campus – While there are several restaurants in the area, the only option on-campus is the Law Cafe, which is only open from 7:30 to 3 Monday through Friday, during the academic year. (Or vending machines operated by the Law Cafe, but still stocked during the summer.) However, nearby restaurants are generally okay and there are fairly cheap options available.
Convenient Public Transit, Rough for Taxis – UC Hastings is convenient to public transit like buses and BART, but if you want to catch a cab, you usually have to leave the campus area or call a cab specifically to pick up. However, if you have a car, there is ample parking in the university garage or the main public garage in the Civic Center (which is cheaper for current students). Evenings and weekends, there is ample street parking.
I think that our academic expectations are higher than other school because we are a college prep school and many of our graduates are successful men and women.
Parking at my school is very difficult because it is situated downtown and there is hardly any place to park. Most students ride their bikes to school, so they don't have to walk. alternatively, there are city buses that roam around downtown. Parking spaces are rare.
A greek life at my school is pretty much someone who is anti-social and hard incredible grades. This greek life boost up our school reputations academically because we're pretty much full of them. Greeks at my school are treating fairly and gracefully.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
