Improved communication within the college setting is crucial for fostering a cohesive and supportive academic environment. By enhancing communication channels, students can stay informed about important updates, deadlines, and resources, leading to increased engagement and success. Faculty members can better understand student needs and concerns, creating a more responsive and personalized learning experience. Furthermore, clear communication facilitates collaboration among students and faculty, promoting the exchange of ideas and the development of critical thinking skills. Implementing regular feedback mechanisms ensures that the college continuously improves its communication practices, ultimately enhancing the overall educational experience for everyone involved.
Overall, the experience has been great, I have a great balance between academics and personal interests like sports. There is also various resources available for students to receive academic help. I would like to see changes in the parking spots available on campus. As a commuter, there are minimal parking spots that are available for students and in many cases the parking lots are quite far from campus.
I did not feel protected by staff members in situations regarding my physical/emotional wellbeing. There was bullying, hazing, and intimidation happening on campus. Staff also does not care about student safety as it pertains to facilities. The dorms that aren't pentland are falling apart. Water on the floor with no wet floor sign, no "protocol for student injuries" on campus when I fell and there was no wet floor sign. Etc
