3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Financial aid was okay. Definitely not as much as I thought I would receive, especially this upcoming year since I will not be living on campus.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I come from a middle class family that just reaches the cut off to receive aid. I'm not receiving aid, and it bothers me how if you work less and make less money, you get more aid.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: UCLA got the short end of the stick when it comes to budgeting. There is money available, but it's not easy to get scholarships or fellowships. Sheer cost of living in LA and competitiveness can make it difficult for lower-income people.

3 College Junior

Scholarships: The process is smooth enough, but a FAA (financial aid administrator) reviewed my FAFSA and increased my family's EFC without any notification as to why. Meeting with the FAO can be difficult and not very productive. The UCLA Blue and Gold Program is superb.

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: I was not able to receive scholarships so most of the aid I received came from work-study. ALWAYS accept work- study.
