3 College Senior

Scholarships: I wish there was a better spectrum of options available for finaid.

Scholarships: 1. Apply early. I forgot to send in the signature for my FAFSA and didn't receive aid that year.

2. Try applying even if you think you don't qualify. They've changed a lot of requirements. It could potentially give you a free semester or year of tuition.

Scholarships: Aid mostly offered to only regent's students and those who fit into minority groups. I didn't find too much available.

2 College Sophomore

Scholarships: Financial aid is a hot mess on crack. The school is hot to trot to bill students, but will take its sweet time to fix any errors. Berkeley canceled my financial aid last summer because I did not satisfy a certain requirement (which I did, but the school did not process my information correctly).

Scholarships: the financial aid process for me was good and received a good amount of money and was able to convert loans to work study and am doing that. Tips would be to have a good GPA and keep it up so you can be able to qualify
