Advice on Finding a Job/Internship
UBC runs an outstanding career search program for both current and graduate students. Aside from the various workshops that teach students how to write a successful resume, professors and administration tend to have a lot of connections with both local and foreign companies. Furthermore, the UBC career website lists thousands of on- and off-campus jobs every day and allows students to apply with a simple click. Lastly, UBC also runs an extensive work-study program designed to allow full-time students to both work and still have enough time to complete their studies.
