Off-Campus Housing: It's downtown everything is high, But University of Baltimore also don't have dorms. The Varsity is apart of our housing and I don't believe the price is worth it. You could have four roommates and all of you are still paying a thousand dollars. I believe The Varsity is getting over! So I commute to school as well as most people I know ,who goes there.

Off-Campus Housing: because it is downtown pricing can be expensive

4 College Junior

Off-Campus Housing: i am currently living off campus apartment which is not expensive and good to commute.

there are always parking and safety issue because this is Baltimore city.

Off-Campus Housing: The off campus housing choices aren't that spectacular. If you wanted to live anywhere (and you're not a graduate student), I would suggest The Varsity. It's practically brand new and houses students from MICA, Johns Hopkins, and University of Baltimore, so there's a lot of different types of people to meet. Also, the Varsity does a roommate selection program, where they only match you up with people that you would most likely get along with. It's very modern and the best part about it is that while it kind of feels like a dorm, it isn't. It's basically all students, but the option to have your own bathroom and total freedom is what makes it a good choice. For the partying people, like myself, there's always someone throwing a get-together or a party.

Since UB is in the middle of the city, there are plenty of apartments that students will love to live in. Although UB doesn't have a typical college atmosphere, the city life is still good for a campus experience. The apartments are close to classes, libraries, and transportation. There is housing available for students at Sutton Place, Horizon House, Queen Anne Belvedere apartments, and Henderson House apartments.

For more information, UB has a housing placement coordinator who is a licensed real estate agent that can help students find proper housing in the UB Midtown area.
