Off-Campus Dining: We have a variety of restaurants around campus that sell different types of food which is always a good thing. Nearly all of them offer student discounts which enables students with tight budgets to squeeze in a meal between their hectic classes. However, because it is the city, there are mostly expensive.

UB is in the midtown area of Baltimore, so there are many dining places to choose from. Turp's Sports Bar and Restaurant has the best wings in town; the prices are affordable, and it's the typical hangout spot. At Turp's, you can catch the latest basketball, baseball, or football games.

Aside from Turp's, there are also many other restaurants in the area. At Jay's Deli & Catering, there are many different types of dishes, including veggie meals, burgers, cold cuts, macaroni and cheese, fish—you name it, and Jay's has it. XS is a popular restaurant among UB students because of its atmosphere. At XS, you can do everything from try sushi to have breakfast—it's that diverse. For all of the pizza lovers, Oriole Pizza & Sub has the best pizza with the best toppings. Any of these restaurants can be rest spots, date places, or even family gatherings.
