4 College Sophomore

Overall Experience: They have a teaching hospital and lots of options for a diverse study

4 College Sophomore

Athletics: Since its a college that is towards a specific degree there is not much emphasis in sports

4 College Sophomore

Diversity: It seems average compared to my previous college I have attended

3 College Sophomore

Parking: The parking on campus is strict but you can park at the stadium and take a transit into campus

4 College Sophomore

Campus Strictness: You notice them around and feel safe

3 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Housing: Majority of the houses are pricey and some are really nice and others needs a good clean. There is different neighborhoods that you need to be cautious of

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: It it nice close to the river where parks are located

5 College Sophomore

Off-Campus Dining: Tons of variety from cheep late night to expensive

4 College Sophomore

Majors: Bumpers College staff and professors are great

3 College Sophomore

Scholarships: The scholarships were hard to get

5 College Junior

Off-Campus Dining: Lots of variety! If you can think it up, there's a place to cater to your desires!

3 College Junior

Weather: Arkansas weather is always a toss-up. Generally, however, expect an average of 90 and sunny in the summer, 70's sunny/windy in fall-winter, 40's-50's winter, and 70's in spring... pretty nice overall.

4 College Junior

Scholarships: Financial Aid staff on campus helpful and good to answer any questions you may have. The process is quick and they keep things up to date.

2 College Junior

Nightlife: Little Rock is not a good place to be at night. Not much to do for underage nightlife. Transportation is below average.

1 College Junior

Weather: Bad weather makes for a difficult time getting to class on time due to the distant from parking to classrooms.

3 College Junior

Computers: Computer labs are small, printing costs can really add up, wireless access is good and fast but many websites are blocked that really should not be.

1 College Junior

Parking: Most students and faculty have a 10 minute walk to campus unless an expensive permit is purchased yearly. UAMS does offer a shuttle bus that runs constantly all day.

4 College Freshman

Greek Life: We have 3 fraternities just within the College of Pharmacy!

Academics: The curriculum is challenging without being difficult just for difficulty's sake. All my professors so far have been very open-door.

2 College Freshman

Diversity: We have a various range of political views, especially when dealing with the economics of the government. I would say socially we are moderately diverse. Racially, we have some room to grow, but I do not feel that is due to any kind of prejudice.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Little Rock is not a very large town, but it is larger than all the other towns in Arkansas. If you are from AR, Little Rock will feel big. The good news is, there is not a lot of traffic.

4 College Sophomore

Health & Safety: There are a lot of emergency phones located around campus. There are also several security officers roaming the area at all times.

College Sophomore

Greek Life: There is no Greek life at this college that I am aware of

4 College Senior

Health & Safety: Generally I feel safe on campus, we do have security and police that patrol the area 24/7

3 Recent Alumnus

Diversity: Alot in Hospital, Not a Lot in School – We have a moderate amount of diversity. Being in Little Rock, Arkansas and the fact that its a medical school there are a lot of caucasians. UAMS mostly accept arkansas residence so that makes it less diverse. However, if you work at UAMS as a hospital employee you would see an array of cultures and ethnicities
