Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) is the second largest college in the University of Arkansas system and offers degree programs in many academic interests, from English to finance to engineering. In fact, this University could be called the "school of opportunity." UALR houses six different colleges, a graduate school, a law school, research centers, and libraries, so it's not difficult to find a degree to pursue or interesting classes to take, it’s just a matter of narrowing it down and making a decision!

However, even though UALR seems like a big pond, the faculty here is looking to help the small fish swim to success. The student-to-teacher ratio is 14 to 1, which allows the students the opportunity to get know their professors outside of the classroom, and it also offers students the chance to voice their opinions without being drowned out by others. Overall, UALR is here to serve its students and help them achieve their academic goals. If you want to go to college where future teachers, scientists, nurses, lawyers, and engineers are all in one setting, UALR is definitely the school for you.
