4 College Junior

Overall Experience: I would stay at UFAS it is a good school I think I don't know if I have a favorite experience my classes have all been good, the professors helpful and I have made new friends who are in the same majors. If I had to choose I would say my favorite course so far has been music appreciation Rock and Roll with Dr.Booker, it is sad that he is retiring.

5 College Junior

Overall Experience: I really have loved all of my professors so far I feel they know their topics and are all interested in the students. I have had a few that I would not want to take again because of how they grade but that is just personal preference in each person.

3 College Junior

Overall Experience: I don't know a lot about what has happened for other students after they graduated but I have heard that the number of teachers who get hired is high because of the internship classes that we have to take.

3 College Junior

Career Services: I don't know about other majors but for my career their is a room filled to the top with books about education, crafts and tools to use in a classroom and a ton of other fun things for early education students.

4 College Junior

Student Body: I am a quiet student but I have noticed that the students are really friendly and will include other students in study groups or just while hanging out. I like that at our school the majors all end up in one room to talk about the careers that they are interested in.

2 College Junior

Online Courses: I took one online course and it killed me I did not like not knowing the students to get help from or the professor to get advice or extra instructions. I also talked to other students and they agreed that online courses are much more difficult.

4 College Junior

Academic Experience: So far everything revolving my major has been good my advisor is very helpful and the teachers have been very supportive.

3 College Junior

Academic Experience: I think most of the academics offered are fairly good.

3 College Junior

Tuition & Financial Aid: I know that college is expensive and you have to pay for the professors, the buildings, the gym, library, cafeteria, ect. but the one thing that I feel is ridiculous for college students is the books. When most of the time professors do not use the books in class. I also want to mention that I have had a hard time getting financial aid so I have to pay out of pocket and that is difficult so those extra fees build up quickly.

Campus Resources: The library is a wonderful place to study it has many different areas to study, use computers, hang out and study with groups. The campus gym is also a good facility I use the track when I study also.

3 College Junior

Academic Flexibility: My advisor is great she is very helpful with classes and schedules but I went to talk to financial aid and they told me that I did not need to accept my grant every year which I did so I lost it.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: I don't see much of it, and while there are a few too many unenthused students for my tastes (I always get stuck in the classes full of people who wish they could be somewhere else) they are, for the most part, doing what they should be doing.

4 College Freshman

Overall Experience: I really enjoy the instructors so far, though I have only taken classes for my major, so I automatically love the classes first. Something unique about UAFS is that it's not too big or too small, but somewhere in-between. It doesn't feel like a crazy party school, yet it has all the finesse of a larger institution. However, if I had to do it all over I don't know if I would choose UAFS. Maybe if I was able to actually apply for a scholarship the second time around...

Campus Resources: The resources at UAFS are already really great, and with the 20-year Master Plan to renovate the entire campus, I can't wait to see how the fitness center, arts buildings and general campus changes for the better over time.

3 College Freshman

Overall Experience: Its is way too much work for what is it worth. If I didn't get 18,000 from the school for being in band, then I wouldn't be here.

3 College Freshman

Career Services: There aren't really any jobs available for someone in the Music Education Degree. NO one is willing to work around your schedule.

3 College Freshman

Student Body: There is WAY too many people having sex and partying.

3 College Freshman

Academic Experience: Its super stressful and doesn't work around your personal schedule. You have to schedule EVERYTHING around it.

1 College Freshman

Academic Experience: For a music Education major You have to take upwards of 18 credits per semester and in all actuality, the work load is about 90 hours a week.

College Freshman

Online Courses: The several class I had were web enhanced. They did NOT stress the online portion until the last week. So everyone had to rush to get all the assignments done.

5 College Freshman

Facilities: The fraternity life is extremely prevalent in this college.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: We have a mac lab in the Breedlove building that is the music building. Its amazing.

5 College Freshman

Campus Resources: The resources on this campus are fantastic. I could not ask for better facilities.

College Freshman

Academic Flexibility: I am a music education major. There are only certain times that they offer the class.

College Student

Online Courses: never have messed with the online courses
