5 College Junior

Local Atmosphere: WE'RE IN ALASKA. nothing beats that

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: Unlike Anchorage, there isn't as much to do in Fairbanks, at least if you're an introvert like me who doesn't care much about outdoor activities. If you're not, then there are plenty of places to hike and you can always hang out by the river. There's plenty of wilderness to get lost in.

5 College Freshman

Local Atmosphere: Fairbanks is a great college town and offers many things to do off campus.

3 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: If you come here to study than you came to the right spot, if you came to get the "college life" then I fell bad for you. But if you can get hippie friends they will take you on camp trips and hikes and bonfires and hunting and a lot of outdoor fun time, even in the winter you can ski on campus on the trails and join out door adventure and go berry picking in the fall and fishing an the list goes on an on... yeah this is a out door type of campus. You'll love it if you love nature and hippies :D

4 College Sophomore

Local Atmosphere: I love this town. Moved from southern California & plan to live here for a very long time.
